SSC CHSL Syllabus 2018-19

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 5789 vacancies for the post of Lower Divisional Clerks and Court Clerks, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistants & Data Entry Operators.

SSC CHSL Notification 2018-19

  • The Tier 1 exam is going to be conducted from 1st July to 26th July 2019. All candidates should go through the SSC CHSL Syllabus and cover important topics.
  • It is essential to go through the Previous Year Question Papers to understand the frequently asked topics and trends.
  • All candidates need to clear 3 stages in the Selection Process before receiving the appointment letter.
  • It is essential to understand the Exam Pattern to know the structure of the paper.

Tier 2: SSC CHSL Syllabus

In Tier 2 of the CHSL exam, all candidates have to write a Descriptive Essay/Letter. Go through the important pointers for SSC CHSL Tier 2 Syllabus-

  • The 2nd Tier tests the candidate’s writing skills & creative thinking.
  • The mode of the exam is Written (Pen and Paper).
  • Minimum qualifying marks in this Tier is 33%.
  • The word limit for the essay will be around 200-250 words.
  • Word Limit for the Letter would be approximately 150-200 words.
  • This section is fairly simple. The candidate is expected to write on popular topics.
  • The candidates can choose if they want to write in English or Hindi language.

SSC CHSL Tier 3 Syllabus

The Tier 3 Test of SSC CHSL 2019 is a Skill test or Typing Test which is of qualifying nature. Skill Test/ Typing Test differs with the job profile.

  • The Tier 3 exam is a Skill Test/Typing Test
  • Only the students who have cleared Tier 1 and Tier 2 can appear for Tier 3 exam.
  • Candidates have to qualify the test at the required speed on Computer decided by the officials of Commission

Data Entry Operator Typing Test (Tier 3)

  1. Candidates who have applied for the post of DEO (Data Entry Operator) have to undergo a typing test.
  2. Time Allotted for this test is 15 minutes.
  3. A passage will be given to the candidates.
  4. The candidates are expected to enter 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer.
  5. The 15-minute test will judge with the Hour criteria in mind.
  6. Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions

Data Entry Operator in the office of the C&G of India Typing Test (Tier 3)

  1. Time Allotted for this test is 15 minutes.
  2. A passage will be given to the candidates
  3. The candidates are expected to enter 15,000 (Fifteen thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer.
  4. The 15-minute test will judge with the Hour criteria in mind.
  5. Speed of 15,000 key depressions per hour on computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words/ key depressions

SSC CHSL Admit Card 2019

Admit Card is an identity verification documents and one must come to the examination hall with a hard copy of the SSC CHSL Admit Card. You can download the SSC CHSL Admit Card for Tier 1 directly.
