• As per the latest reports, SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam is scheduled to be held from 17 to 21 August 2020 &  24 to 27 August 2020.

SSC CHSL Result Declaration Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CHSL result after each stage of the exam as explained below:

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result: Generally, the Tier 1 result of SSC CHSL is declared a month after the examination.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Result: Candidates who qualify in the Tier-I exam are called to appear for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam. The results will be declared after the completion of the exam.

SSC CHSL Tier 3 Result: Candidates who will score a minimum of 33% of marks in the Tier 2 exam are called for the SSC CHSL Tier 3 Exam. This exam is qualifying in nature. Based on the marks scored in the Tier 3 exam, candidates are called for the document verification process.

How is the Tie Resolved in SSC CHSL 2020 Result?

If in case there two or more candidates have scored the same, then the merit list is prepared by following the below parameters.

• Firstly, candidate scoring more marks in Tier 1 and Tier 2 is given higher priority.
• If still, the tie continues, candidate scoring more in Tier 2 is considered
• If still the tie continues, the candidate who has the highest marks in Tier 1 will be given priority.
• If the tie still persists, then the candidate’s age is considered i.e., the candidate who is an elder is given priority.
• If the tie still continues, then the alphabetical order of candidates’ names is considered.

1. The Tier 1 CHSL paper has 100 questions, the paper is of 200 marks & the exam duration is 1 hour.
2. For each incorrect answer, there is a mark-down of 0.5 marks.
