SSC CGL Tier I Exam Analysis 21st August 2017: How was your exam?
SSC CGL is one of the most sought after exams in the country being taken by more than 30 lakh applicants in 2017. SSC CGL exams are conducted in four phases – Tier I, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4. It is a matter of pride to get a job in SSC CGL and still presents a lucrative career option to the those who take the exam. SSC CGL Tier 1 Paper Pattern:
The SSC CGL exam is conducted has a total of 100 questions with four different sections for a total of 200 marks and is held for a duration of 60 minutes.

SSC CGL Tier I exam analysis – SSC CGL Tier I exam Pattern
Tier I Exam is mandatory for all posts under SSC CGL. Candidates who qualify in Tier I exam will have to write Tier II or mains exam. Candidates who qualify in Tier II exam will qualify in Tier III exams. Those who qualify in Tier III will be selected for Tier IV exam. Candidates must clear both sectional cutoff and overall cutoff for SSC CGL Tier I exam to get selected for Tier II exam. Candidates must subsequently clear sectional cutoff and overall cutoff in Tier II and Tier III exams and so on to get selected for posts under SSC CGL.
