The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the second stage of the SSC CGL Exam as per the scheudle. The exam is held across the country in different centers. SSC CGL Exam Centers 2021
Applicants need to provide a choice of three cities as their SSC CGL Exam Centers. These three cities or centers need to follow a specific order of preference; first needs to be the nearest and easily commuted, second can be a neighbor city and third needs to be any other city that can be transported on time. - A candidate needs to pick three cities out of 105
- Secondly, all three cities need to follow the order of preference with first being the nearest

Allotment of SSC CGL Exam Centers 2021
Candidates must read some important information regarding the venue of the SSC CGL Exam as follows:
- Choice of centre: Candidates need to provide a choice of three cities as their SSC CGL exam centres in the application form.
- Order: All three Exam centres are to be provided in the candidate’s order of preference. The first preferred city should be easy to travel to write the exam.
- Other Preferences: The other two preferences of exam centers are provided to handle the following cases:
- Total seats for the city of your first choice have already been filled.
- The exam centre has been cancelled.

SSC CGL Exam Centers: Exam Day Instructions
Once the exam center is allotted to an applicant, he/she needs to take care of certain things in the exam hall. This year, the exam will be conducted with an extra safety measures. Hence, candidates must read the instructions listed below and follow them without fail:
- All candidates will be checked with thermo guns at the entrance gate. Any candidate having the temperature above 99.14 F will not be allowed to take up the exam.
- Canidates must masks and gloves to the exam hall mandatorily. Hand sanitizers will be provided in exam hall.
- But, candidates can also bring their sanitizers which should be of only 50 ml.
- Candidates must carry their SSC CGL Admit Card to the exam hall
- Secondly, candidates should not create any kind of nuisance in the hall
- All the students must be dressed according to the dress code of SSC CGL
- Moreover, candidates should try to reach 15 minutes earlier than the exam is scheduled
- Also, candidates must have their identity proofs like Adhaar Card with them (original and photocopy
- Besides that, in case any student misbehaves in the hall, they will not be allowed to give the exam
- Any kind found in the possession of prohibited items will face negative consequences by the officials of SSC CGL

SSC CGL Dress Code
SSC strictly instructs a specific dress code during the conduction of the SSC CGL Examination. Both male & Female candidates need to follow the below-mentioned dress code in order to avoid suspension of candidature from SSC CGL 2021.
Dress Code for Male Candidates
The following is the detailed SSC CGL Dress Code for Males:
- Firstly, male candidates are advised to wear a light-colored shirt/t-shirt half sleeves with small buttons
- Secondly, any traditional wear like a kurta or pajama is not allowed
- Male candidates must only plain sleepers or sandals in the exam hall
- Moreover, candidates should not wear any kind of accessories like a watch, bracelets, etc
- Besides that, no candidate should be carrying gold jewelry in the exam hall
- Nobody in the exam hall should be carrying any kind of electronics or technical gadgets in the exam center
Dress code for Female Candidates
The following instructions must be followed by all the female candidates coming to give the exam:
- Firstly, female candidates are advised to wear light-colored, half sleeves kurtas or tops, with small buttons
- Secondly, brooch, flowers, bangles, jewelry, etc are not allowed during the exam
- Moreover, women are not permitted to wear any kind of jewelry except Mangal Sutra
- Salwar’s, Patiala’s, and plain simple lowers cannot be worn.
- Candidates must wear normal and simple clothes at the center
- Only Jeans or Leggings should be carried at the center
Items Not Allowed in SSC CGL Exam Centers
Candidates are not allowed to possess the following list of items during the exam. If found any, applicants may be asked to leave the examination hall.
- Firstly, a stationary item such as bits of papers, textual material (written or printed), Pencil box/ Geometry, Plastic Pouch, Pen, Calculator, Scale, Pen Drive, Writing Pad, Eraser, Log Table, Calculator, Scanner/ Electronic Pen, etc.
- Watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, Bracelet, etc.
- Communication devices such as Bluetooth, Mobile Phone, Earphones, Pager, Microphone, Health Band, etc.
- Items such as Goggles, Wallet, Handbags, Cap, Belt, etc.
- Ornaments such as Earrings, Ring, Nose-pin, Pendants, Chain/Necklace, Badge, Brooch are not allowed
- Food items either opened or closed are not allowed.
- A metallic item such as a knife is strictly prohibited.
- One should not have items that can be used for hiding Bluetooth device, camera

Q) Can I change the SSC CGL Exam Center after the issue of Admit Card?
NO. As per the notification, candidates are not allowed to change the SSC CGL Exam Centera after the issue of the admit card. All the applicants had to provide their choices of exam centers in the application form. The commission will allocate the exam centers out of the choices provided by the candidates.

Q) If I forget to carry my SSC CGL Tier 2 admit card to the exam center. What should I do?
You should download and print your SSC CGL Admit Card Tier-2 again from a nearby cyber cafe and carry it to the exam center. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
