SSC CGL Exam 2016

Basic criteria that needs to be fulfilled for appearing in CGL exam
- Age Limit
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years. Let’s see what the different age limits for different posts are

|Assistant(Intelligence Bureau)||21 to 27 years|
|Assistant Enforcement Officer||Upto 30 years|
|Sub-Inspector (CBI)||20 to 30 years|
|Statistical Investigator GR-II||upto 32 years|
|Sub-Inspector (NIA)||upto 30 years|
|Assistant Audit Officer||Not exceeding 30 years|
|Sub-Inspector (Narcotics)||18 to 25 years|
- Educational Qualification
The minimum qualification required for this exam is Graduation. Although for certain other posts some additional qualification is also required.

SYLLABUS OF SSC CGL EXAM
This exam takes place in 2 Tiers, Tier 1 and Tier 2
Tier 1 exam comprises of:
|General Intelligence and Reasoning||50|
- The above exam is a total 2 hour exam
- 25 marks deduction will be done for every incorrect answer
Now, the Tier 2 exam comprises of:

After the Tier 2 exam is cleared, there is a final interview round that is conducted for the candidates.
DATE OF EXAM
The SSC CGL 2016 exam date is yet to be decided. The exam will take place in the month of August
