The Descriptive Question paper has been introduced first time in the SSC CGL 2016-17 only. There are mainly three components of SSC CGL Tier-3 descriptive Question paper namely Essay Writing, Precis writing and Letter Writing.
SSC CGL Tier-3 Descriptive Paper Exam Time & Asked Questions:
There were 2 questions were asked to be solved in 60 min. All 2 questions were mandatory to solve.

Complete SSC CGL Exam Analysis 2016-17 Tier III Exam: 19th March 2017:
There were two questions asked in the today CGL Tier-3 exam for 100 marks.
One essay and one letter writing were asked each carrying 50 marks.

Word limit: (About 250 words) -50 marks.
Letter writing Topic for SSC CGL Tier-III Descriptive Paper Exam held on 19th March 2017:
Assuming that you are Suresh/Seema, Write a letter to your younger brother Naresh, highlighting the distinct benefits and shortcomings of Computer Based Recruitment test, and what will be the future shortfall of it.
Word limit 🙁 About 150 words)-50 marks
In CGL Tier 3 Exam Answer sheet was given to students consisting 12 pages and each page consisted four columns and 14 rows.There was strict command to follow word limit and you could exceed only 10% of the word limit.
