The official notice for South Indian Bank PO recruitment 2018 has been released recently. The online exam will be held tentatively on 29th December 2018. Selection Procedure for SIB PO PGDBF Program

South Indian Bank recruits candidates as Probationary Officers through the Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Finance program. The selection process for SIB PO includes:

  1. An Online Test
  2. A Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview.

On clearing the rounds successfully, candidates can enroll themselves for the PGDBF Program under Manipal Global Education Services, Bangalore. On successfully completing the program for the given time, the candidates shall be offered the post of Scale I Probationary Officer at South Indian Bank.

As the selection process consists of an Online Exam, therefore, you can have a look the SIB PO Paper Pattern for the Online Test. Compared to previous exam for SIB PO, this time there is a change in the exam pattern. While the number of Questions have been increased to 40, the marks for each section has been allotted to 50. Moreover, the sectional timing for each section has also been changed.

Candidates have to remember that the complete exam shall be conducted only in English. Besides, for every wrong attempt, a negative marking of 0.25 marks apply. Also, sectional timing is there for every section.

Group Discussion / Personal Interview

The initial screening will be done by the online test. On successfully clearing the online test, the candidates shall be called for Group Discussion and Personality Interview. Thereby, a final selection list shall be released on the basis of the marks obtained in the online test, group Discussion round as well as Personal Interview.
