SBI PO Prelims Exam analysis 7th May 2017 – How was your exam?

Dear Aspirants,

The SBI PO Prelims Exam (07th May 2017, 01st Slot) is going to be over now. Today is the final day of SBI PO Prelims 2017.Around 40 lakh candidates will be appearing the online exam this year. The number of vacancy available is 2313. SBI PO is one of the most reputed exam in the country. The exam will be conducted in 4 shifts on 29, 30 April and 6,7 May.

SBI PO Prelims will see banking aspirants nationwide take the exam. The exam has 3 phases. There will be three exams.

  1. Phase I exam: Candidates must clear Phase I of the exam with sectional cut off and move on to phase II of the exam. After writing the Phase I of the exam, they will be selected for Phase II of the exam.
  1. Phase II of the exam: Phase II of the exam is the main exam of the SBI PO 2017. The SBI PO consists of objective tests for 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks. The objective and descriptive tests will be conducted online.

This is followed by Interview round.


The shift timings for Preliminary Phase I examinations is given below:

Shift 1

9:00 am onwards

Shift 2

11:00 am onwards

Shift 3

2:00 pm onwards

Shift 4

4:30 pm onwards

There will be 3 sections : English, Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude .The total marks will be 100 and you will have maximum 1 hour or 60 Minutes.
