State Bank of India has released SBI PO notification(Probationary Officer) in its branches across India. All interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. Candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India. Below you can find the eligibility criteria for SBI PO 2018.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2018 –

Educational Qualification:

Candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in their last year of graduation are also encouraged to apply. However, such candidates in their final year of graduation should produce Mark sheets or proof of passing before 31.08.2018.

Age limit:

Candidate should not be below 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on 1.04.2018. Candidate should not be born later than 1.04.1997 and not earlier than 02.04.2018

Age Relaxation:

  1. SC/ST – 5 years
  2. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years
  3. PWD- SC/ST – 15 years
  4. PWD-OBC- 13 years
  5. PWD Gen- 10 years
  6. Ex-Serviceman- 5 years
  • Candidates who have defaulted on loan repayment/ credit card dues or who have an adverse report by CIBIL or other external agencies are not eligible to apply for the recruitment process.
  • Candidates who have been registered for adverse reports of character, antecedents, moral turpitude are advised not to apply for the recruitment process

Reservation: 4 percent reservation has been provided to Persons with Disabilities.

Candidates with the following Disabilities after best correction are eligible to apply

Visual Impairment:

Candidates who have suffered Visual Impairment and who now have gone through correction process are eligible to apply.

Blindness: Total Absence of sight.

Vision Acuity less than 3/60 or less than 10/200 Snellen in the better eye after best possible correction.

Hearing Impaired:

Deaf: Person having 70DB hearing Loss in speech frequencies in both the ears

Hard of Hearing: Person having 60 DB to 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both the ears.

Locomotor Disabilities: Locomotor Disabilities include various disabilities like cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism. Orthopaedically challenged persons are covered under Locomotor Disabilities.  Persons with OA and OAL category should have normal bilateral hand functions.

  • OA: One Arm Affected
  • OL – One Leg Affected
  • OAL – One Arm And One Leg Affected
  • BL – Both Legs affected but not arms
