Are you looking forward to becoming an officer at the Bank? Do you know about the entrance test known as SBI PO? Well, this test is organized by State Bank of India for the candidates who would like to apply for the post of Probationary Officer. Whenever the SBI need to fill the vacancy of PO, they will conduct this entrance test. The examination date will be announced at the earliest. All the candidates should check the website to see the notifications given by SBI.

SBI PO Syllabus for 2016

The SBI PO Examination will be conducted in two ways- online and descriptive tests. The first online test will be a preliminary test in which you will have 3 sections like English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the online test will be only 1 hour. You will have 100 questions in total which will be divided as follows:

English Language – 30

Reasoning Ability – 35

Quantitative Aptitude – 30

The second online examination of SBI PO will be for 2 hours and you will have 200 questions in total. The portions for this test will be Data Interpretation & Analysis, Reasoning, English Language and General Awareness (including marketing, computers). All these 4 sections will have 50 questions.

In the main objective type examination, you will also have a section of descriptive questions where you will have to type the answers. This test will be for 50 marks and you will have good one hour to finish this section. The main idea behind the descriptive section is to test your writing skills and comprehension.

A cutoff mark will be decided by SBI for this PO Examination. The candidates who clear this test will be called for an interview and group discussion.
