SBI PO 2016 Exam Pattern and Exam Details

Exam Pattern of SBI PO Test
Unlike other entrance examinations, SBI PO Test 2016 will have 3 exams to check the eligibility of the candidate. The preliminary test will include three sections like English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. There will be a total of 100 questions which are objective.
The English section will only have 30 questions. But the other two sections will have 35 questions each. For each correct answer the candidate gives, they earn 1 mark. Negative marking is applicable for SBI PO Examination 2016. For completing the preliminary test, the candidates will have 1 hour.
If you pass this initial test of SBI PO, you will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination which is in 200 marks. This test will have four sections with 50 questions from each syllabus. The main test of SBI PO 2016 will have a small part of a descriptive section for 50 marks. Hence, the total marks for the main test will be 250. For descriptive section, the candidates will have 1 hour and 2 hours for the objective part. Your writing and comprehension skill will be tested through the descriptive section. So write carefully without making any mistakes.
The candidates who pass both preliminary and the main test will be called for an interview or a group discussion. You might turn into one of the Probationary Officers in the State Bank of India soon if you knuckle down the SBI PO Exam.
