In this post, the basic aim is to provide the customers a delightful experience overall along with innovation in the approach and advancements in technologies delivered by immensely motivated and skilled workforce. The team is encouraged to take up higher workload, groomed, and trained to seek new challenges.

Sales and Distribution-

As the organization is sales driven, sales is one of the major function. The team works on a ‘channelized strategy’ which is driven by ideas and strategies. The team serves right from managing relationships to protecting functional priorities.

Underwriting and Reinsurance-

Underwriting and reinsurance works primarily comprises of corporate underwriting and underwriting operations. The team works for business objectives intended for the growth of the corporate. The primary roles involved in this post is Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, Risk Appetite, Policy and endorsement wordings, Pricing, Technical Support, Risk Referrals, Underwriting Authority Licensing, Technical Training and Reinsurance. The team is divided into three sections-

  1. Commercial (Property, Engineering, Casualty, Marine)
  2. Retail (Motor, Health & PA, Personal Lines)

This team is dedicated to provide settlement of insurance claims in a fair and transparent manner in case of any sudden occurrence of loss.

The Claims function aims to deliver magnificent claims services to both our retail and corporate customers to make the claim settlement process a hassle- free experience.


Using the internal data and the statistics data available from the industry, they determine the change of rates for various types of insurance. One of their roles also include communication regarding the financial implications of the results. This team basically plays the role of a guiding light and they basically influence any sort of financial decisions of the organization.

Legal and Compliance-

The legal and compliance primarily comprises of 3 core functions-

  • Legal
  • Compliance
  • Secretarial

The legal team covers some of the major areas which are agreement/ contracts/ MOU’s/ LOI for the premises team and managing non- claims litigation (Criminal, Civil, Consumer, High court, Supreme Court). This team takes care of AML/KYC Related Matters, rules and regulations and correspondences with GIC/SBI, corporate agency Inspection and updates on IRDA circulars, returns.

Internal Audit and Risk Management-

Internal Audit and Risk Management team works for providing the assurance that the business processes are carried out with the in accordance to the stated objectives and the organization’s policies.

This team basically works on the assessment of the risks to which is the organization is exposed to and it helps to develop grip to mitigate these risks, in case they occur. The basic areas this team focuses on are fraud control & investigation, fraud risk assessment, fraud prevention, detection, investigation and reporting.

Human Resources-

HR team focuses on building a learning environment by nurturing, grooming, developing and retaining the right talent. The key roles/ functions involved in the roles and responsibilities of HR-

Information Management-

The IM team is basically divided into two major verticals-

  • Information Quality
  • Analytics and Business Intelligence

The team works in those major areas-

  • Building a data sensitive culture through continuous monitoring on key data quality metrics
  • To run a continuous data quality program
  • Making data accessible in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintaining consistency in monitoring key matrics

Information Technology-

The IT department is the backbone of the organization on technology grounds. All business applications like Core Policy Administration, Financial, Portal, CRM, HRMS, Budgeting, DWBI, Mobility etc. are managed by a team of Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, IT Services Management and Infrastructure Managers is taken care of by the IT department.

Finance and Administration-

Finance & Accounts depart work for various aspects like true and fair accounting of all financial transactions, Investments, Reinsurance, Premiums and Coinsurances.

The other areas handled by this team are payments relating to vendors, employees, reimbursements, salaries, refunds, claims and commissions pertaining to all branches across the country, cash management, banking for all premium collection payments along with corresponding reconciliations, etc.

Rural and Agriculture-

This department takes care of Pan India insurance which is related to rural products like livestock, micro insurance, agricultural implements, etc. and agriculture (crop). This dept. works mostly in rural area projects which includes dealing with farmers, social organizations, NGOs and govt. officials.
