The order of the paper was General Awareness,English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude.

The SBI Clerk Mains exam pattern consists of the following four sections – General/Finance Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability & Computer Awareness. Sectional timing is applicable. Also, for every wrong attempt, you will get 0.25 marks in negative.

The Overall level of this section was Moderate. Mostly all the questions were from Banking Awareness. Current Affairs questions were very few and 1-2 from Static G.K.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Analysis – Quantitative Aptitude:

Quantitative Aptitude was Moderate. Section was solvable and here also some new patterns were introduced. Some of the questions asked were:

  • Approximation: 10 question (Moderate to Difficult)
  • Quantity I, Quantity II: 5 questions (Moderate)
  • Quadratic Equation: 5 questions (Moderate)

SBI Clerk Mains General /Finance Awareness Exam Analysis:

The Overall level of this section was Moderate. Most of the questions were from Current Affairs from past 3 months. 8-10 questions were from Banking Awareness and 4-5 from Static G.K.

SBI Clerk Mains Reasoning & Computer Awareness Exam Analysis:

The Reasoning section was comparatively difficult. There were many puzzles Questions asked and we could see some new patterns introduced. Also, the section was too time consuming. Some of the questions asked were:

  • Square seating arrangements, 8 people seating in the sides of the square, 4 like fruits and 4 like flowers.
  • Direction and Distance based questions, arrangement of horses.
  • Circular seating arrangement.
  • Floor-based Puzzles.
  • Month based puzzles, 3 months, 3 dates, people had to be arranged by their weight and age.
  • Linear seating arrangement, facing north and south.
  • 3 Blood relations questions(Relations coded).
  • 1 Machine input-output question.
  • Coding-decoding questions.

SBI Clerk Mains Quantitative Aptitude Exam Analysis:

Quantitative Aptitude was Moderate to Difficult. Candidates had mixed reaction on this. Some of the questions asked were:

  • Approximation: 5 question (Moderate to Difficult)
  • Quantity I, Quantity II: 5 questions (Moderate)
