Railway Recruitment Board has announced the result for paramedical Staff. RRB is hoping to recruit 1937 candidates for the post of Staff Nurse, Health & Malaria Inspector, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent and more. Based on the performance of candidates int the Computer Based Test held on 19th to 21st July 2019, the merit list has been released.

Railway Recruitment Board has released the Provisional Panel (Final List) for the post of Paramedical Categories on the official website on 4th October 2019.

RRB Paramedical Recruitment Education Qualification

All candidates must should requisite minimum Educational/Technical/Professional qualifications indicated for the posts in Annexure-A of this CEN, from a renowned Board/University/Institute as on the closing date for ONLINE Registration (02.04.2019). Those who are waiting for their results of the final exam of the prescribed Educational/Technical/Professional qualification SHOULD NOT apply

Medical Standards for RRB Paramedical Posts

The candidates who will be called for Document Verification will have to clear the requisite medical fitness test(s) which are conducted by the Railway Administration in order to make sure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of physical fitness of Railway staff. The medical needs against different Medical Standards for different communities are highlighted below:

NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP:

(i) A candidate should be either:

  1. a citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan refugee who came to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the purpose of permanently settling in India, or
  5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  6. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. (ii) A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

How to Apply for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2019?

The following steps will guide the students to fill the form successfully:

  1. First of all, candidates must select the RRB they want to go for
  2. Secondly, they need to confirm that they have read and accepted all the instructions (tick in the empty box)
  3. Now, students must enter their personal details as such Name, Father’s Name, etc
  4. Click on submit.
  5. One OTP number will be sent on the candidate’s phone number and e-mail id
  6. The students need to fill that OTP and then,
  7. The registration number and password will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail id and phone number, fill the details and submit
  8. Now, there will be a new page displayed now
  9. Candidates need to click on Already Registered and fill in the registration number and password
  10. Now, the candidates need to fill their educational details, Community, Gender etc

Payment & Bank Details

  1. The candidates will now be directed to the payment page
  2. Candidates can choose payment methods from Bank (Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan) or Post Office Challan
  3. The candidates who are paying from Bank-offline mode, they must know that the confirmation takes 2 hours. They have to log in and check whether it is confirmed or not.
  4. The time period for payment confirmation shall vary from 24 hrs. to 48 hrs. in case of Post Office payment
  5. Now, candidates are required to choose the language they want to give their exam in
  6. Candidates are supposed to fill their bank account details because RRB will send back fee refund after CBT-1

Photo & Signature

  1. Now, the page will open where candidates need to upload their photo and signature
  2. Candidates need to click on ‘Upload’ and select the picture from their computer and then click ok (same process for uploading any other document or signature)
Specifications for Photograph
  • Firstly, the photo should be colored
  • The size must be 35 mm X 45 mm (320 x 240 pixels)
  • Moreover, the format must be JPEG
  • Also, the background should be light-colored
  • The size should be 20-50 kb
  • Besides that, the photo must be taken on or after 1st January 2019
  • The candidate’s face must be very clear in the photo
  • It should be taken from a professional camera
  • Furthermore, candidates must keep 12 copies of that same picture with them for further use
Specifications for Signature
  • The student has to sign on a white paper with black ink
  • Secondly, the signature should be in flow and NOT in block letters
  • The image of the photo of the signature should be in JPEG format (100 DPI resolution)
  • Moreover, the file size must be 10-40 kb
  • The student himself should do the signature
Scanning and Resizing of the picture
  • The candidate must set the scanner to a minimum 100 DPI resolution
  • Secondly, now set the colour to true colour
  • Now, crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature. Afterward, use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above)
  • Moreover, the image should be in JPEG Format

Community Certificate Upload

The candidates belonging to SC/ST categories must upload their community certificates. They will get a free travel pass.

  • The certificate must be in JPEG Format
  • The size should be in between 50-100 kb
  • After this, the student can submit the application form
