RRB JE Exam Day Instructions and Dress Code:- As Railway Recruitment Board, RRB conducts JE (Junior Engineer) examination every year to recruit young railway aspirants, applicants need to take care of certain Exam Day Instructions and Dress Code for flawless conduct of the JE exam.

Exam Day Instructions – RRB JE Exam Day Instructions and Dress Code

As mentioned above, one needs to follow the exam day instruction as instructed by RRB officials in order to write the exam. We will mention all the required instructions one need to follow during the examination process;

Admit Card Submission

  • The very first and foremost thing one needs to do is to submit the official RRB JE Admit Card for the process of verification during the test.
  •  During the submission of RRB JE Admit Card, one needs to present one original and valid photo identification card.
  • If the verification document provided doesn’t match with the eligibility criteria set by the RRB officials, Admit Card will not confer any right to write the examination.

List of Documents to be Used as Photo ID;

  • Voter ID card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card


  • The photograph of the candidate must match with the candidate’s appearance on the days of CBT and DV.

Exam Timing

  • All the applicants are advised to report their respective exam centers half an hour before the time mentioned on the official RRB JE Hall Ticket.

Mobile phones and Other Electronic Gadgets

  • Electronic gadgets such as Mobile phone, watches, Calculators are not allowed inside the examination hall on the test day.
  • One must keep in mind that there will be no facility for safekeeping of your personal belongings outside the exam hall as RRB will not be responsible for its loss.
  • Apart from Admit Card, Photo ID Card, and Pen/Pencil, candidates are not allowed to bring any belonging.

Test Center and accessibility

  • People accompanying the candidate such as friends and relatives will not be allowed inside the test center.
  • Applicants must plan in order to access the test center with ease in order to avoid any last minute hassle.
  • For the applicants who are traveling to the test centers from far away, can plan to stay near the exam center a day prior to the examination.
  • RRB will not arrange for applicant’s travel and you will need to plan on your own travel and stay. Try to stay near the test center to reach the exam center on time.
  • RRB will not permit any change of date/ center of exam under any circumstances.

Rough Sheets

  • All the candidates will be provided Rough Sheets for the purpose of rough work and one must return it at the end of the test.
  • As instructed, one should write his/her name and registration number on the given rough sheets.
  • any special instruction given by the invigilator on the test day must be followed strictly.

  • The candidature is purely provisional and RRB can cancel it at any stage of the examination process if any misconduct or violation of the eligibility is noticed.
  • RRB reserves the right to cancel or order re-examination at any stage of the examination process for a candidate or all candidates.
  • RRB’s decision of any kind will be final.
