Railway Recruitment Board had notified a total vacancy of 62,907 posts for various Group D posts earlier this year. Railway Group D Examination includes various posts like Gangman, Switchman, Trackman, Cabinman, Leverman, Pointsman, Keyman, Shunter, Welder, Filter, etc.
Group D employees are promoted to Group C posts on the basis of their performance in the written Examination.The posts under Railway Group D 2020 category include Technical and Non-Technical cadre posts like Clerk, Station Master, Ticket Collector, Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Engineering posts (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication) etc.

रेलवे रिक्रूटमेंट ग्रुप डी परीक्षा में गैंगमैन, स्विचमैन, ट्रैकमैन, कैबिनमैन, लीवरमैन, पॉइंटमैन, कीमैन, शंटर, वेल्डर, फ़िल्टर इत्यादि जैसे विभिन्न पद शामिल हैं।
