RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Limit (As on 01-04-2018):

Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years

Mode of Selection:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Test.

Number of Attempts:

General Category can attempt the online test a maximum of 6 times, there is no restriction on the number of attempts for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD up to the prescribed age limit.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Salary:

RBI Grade B

In case of RBI Grade, salary is much higher than any other bank jobs. The basic pay is of Rs. 8,860/- per month (i.e. Rs. 8,040/- plus two advance increments will be for graduates only). The pay scale of RBI Grade B is Rs. 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years). Inclusive of all the allowances with admissible prerequisites associated with the post (excluding value of housing) comes to a minimum 3, 20,000/- per annum.

 RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Selection Procedure: RBI Grade B Recruitment 2018

Candidates must write both exams consisting of objective and descriptive type questionnaire for a total of 550 marks.

Phase I Exam: Objective type Questionnaire for 200 marks

Phase II Exam: Objective and Descriptive Type exam for 300 marks.

Interview: 50 marks

The Grade B selection takes place in three phases:

  • Phase I– Objective type Questionnaire
  • Phase 2: Descriptive Test
  • Phase 3: Personal Interview

Phase-II online Examination: The Phase-II online Examination will be conducted on July 7, 2017, only for the candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of results of Phase I. The Phase-II examination will be in shifts. Candidates are required to appear for all shifts. Phase–II online examination will consist of three papers as under:

Phase I of the Exam: Phase I of the Exam will be conducted online. The Exam duration is 2 hours. Phase I of the exam will be Question Paper containing 4 sections viz. 1. General Awareness 2. English Language 3. Quantitative Aptitude 4. Reasoning. There will be 200 questions for 200 marks. Negative marking is 0.25 for each wrong answer.

Phase II of the Exam: Phase II of the exam consists of both objective and descriptive type of questionnaire and will be conducted online. It will have 3 Question papers for 100 marks each. Paper 1 is the descriptive type of question paper, while Paper 2 and Paper 3 will be objective type of questionnaire. The Exam has a duration of 270 minutes with each paper having a duration of 90 minutes.

Interview: Candidates who qualify in Phase 2 of the online exam will be eligible for interview round. The interview is allotted with 50 marks.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Admit Card:

Admit card can be downloaded from the official website of RBI for both, Phase I and Phase II of the exam. Admit card can be downloaded by entering Registration number, Password or Date of Birth. Admit card has to be downloaded online and will not be sent via post or other means.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Cut Off:

Candidates must score more than the minimum qualifying score known as the cut-off. The cut-off marks are set by RBI.

RBI Officer Grade B 2018 Result:

RBI releases three results each for Phase I, Phase II and interview round. Candidates can check their results on the official website of RBI. RBI will release separate results for Phase I, Phase II and interview. The final result will be released after the interview process.

      I am sorry, you can not as graduate required with 60% for General Category…

      A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s Degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years.
