General Knowledge


20 Marks

Major Topics: Current affairs, Finance and Economic news, budget plan (3-5 years, sports, Awards, Personalities, Books & Honors, Science Affairs, History and dates, National and international organizations.

Preparation Strategy to Follow:

Ø  Subscribe weekly GK/Current Affairs magazine or book and fix any two days to prepare it all.

Ø  After preparation, take online/offline quizzes or questionnaires (based on weekly affairs) to test your knowledge.

Ø  Read newspaper daily with a definite procedure like go through the first page and then move to the sports news pages and move from back towards front pages; skip unnecessary and local news.


General Intelligence


25 Marks

Major Topics: Number and alphabet series, Direction sense, Coding-Decoding, number ranking, cubes & dice, arithmetical reasoning, problem on age, blood relations, analogy, inferences, mirror images, grouping identical figures, embedded figures and charts.

Preparation Strategy to Follow:

Ø  Get shortcuts and tricks to crack your weak topics.

Ø  Practice for at least 4 days in a week and test your topics in remaining 3 days.


Arithmetic Ability


25 Marks

Major Topics: Number system, HCF/ LCM, simplification, decimal fractions, ratio & proportions, Unitary method, percentage, time & distance, time & work, profit & loss, average, simple & compound interest, Area and Volume, data interpretation.

Preparation Strategy to Follow:

Ø  Practice as much as you can as this section is all about testing your mathematical abilities.

Ø  Practice questions through online sample papers, NCERT books, and mobile applications.


General Science


30 Marks

Major Topics: Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Studies and Biology

Preparation Strategy to Follow:

Ø  Learn all the important basic topics and definitions of the relevant subjects.

Ø  Go through previous year sample papers to get an idea about this section.
