Physical Efficiency Test
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – The second stage is necessary for all the candidates if they are selected in the Railway Group D Computer Based Test. The candidates should thoroughly go through the following table:

Document Verification (DV) and Impaneling of Candidates
On the basis of the performance of candidates in the CBT, candidates will be called for document verification-
- Shortlisted candidates need to produce a NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature would be canceled.
- Signatures of the candidates on all the documents should be identical, either in English or Hindi.
- The candidate’s signature should match with the signature on their 10th official certificate.
Railway Group D Exam Pattern for Written Exam (CBT 1)
All the candidates who want to appear for the exam must check the Railway Group D exam pattern for CBT is as follows:
- The exam appears in Objective Type (MCQs).
- The syllabus has a total of 4 sections: General Awareness and Current Affairs, Reasoning and General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Science.
- There are a total of 100 questions in the exam, each question consisting of 1 mark.
- The total time duration is 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates).
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
