PSU Recruitment through GATE 2019 – Announced!

GATE is a national level exam that aims to test the technical and general aptitude competency of a candidate. Every year lakhs of graduates all over India attempt this exam. The notification for the commencement of GATE 2019 has been declared and is scheduled to take place in the month of February, 2019. Clearing GATE with a good score not only gives you chance to enroll into M.tech or P.hd. courses but you also become eligible to be shortlisted by the PSUs for GD and interviews for recruitment.

About PSUs that recruit through GATE

Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) are the government owned companies or corporations where State or Central govt. have more than 51% share. In other words, they run as private companies but sharing their profit with the government. The PSUs in India can be classified into 3 categories:

• Maharatna PSUs
• Navaratna PSUs
• Miniratna PSUs

Furthermore, there are more than 60 PSUs that recruit from GATE scores and the number is increasing every year.

NOTE: Till now we have only enlisted all those PSUs who have released dates or notifications for recruitment from GATE 2019. The notification for GATE 2019 being out, therefore gradually all PSUs will also start releasing their notification. We will keep updating frequently, as per notification.

How to apply for PSUs through GATE?

The application process for the PSUs differ from eachother. While a few prefer online mode application, other conduct application through online mode.

• For offline mode applications, you have to download the application form, fill it up and send it along with the required details and application fees (if applicable)
• For online mode, you can login to their respective websites. You have to register online, upload required details and submit the application fees (if applicable).

Candidates satisfying the required cut-off criteria shall be called for GD and Interview.
