National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) will, soon, invite the eligible individuals for the post of experienced Law Officers via CLAT 2020. There were (in 2019) a total of 11 vacancies in this total- 04 posts for the unreserved category and 04 posts for the OBC candidates and 03 posts for candidates who belong to the SC category. The salary intake would be around Rs.20600-46500.The candidates who will be shortlisted will be recruited in one of the NTPC projects/JVs/stations/subsidiaries in Vindhyachal, Kudgi, Singrauli, etc. The information in regard to the same for the criteria of eligibility, the procedure of application and the process of selection are given below.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern

NTPC 2020 Eligibility

The students who are planning to appear in the CLAT in the year 2020 in order to get admissions in LLM programs and want to register for the position of Law Officers in NTPC must, mandatorily, fulfill the eligibility conditions for the same which are mentioned below:

  1. Academic Criteria: The students are compulsory to own a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or the degree of a similar level) and must have scored 60% marks. For the students belonging to the SC/PWD categories, the necessary marks to score are relaxed up to 55%. The students with a 5-year integrated law degree will be provided a due preference. All the individuals must be officially registered with the Bar Council.
  2. Age Eligibility: For the general category individuals, the upper age limit is 30 years For the students belonging to other categories, the upper age limit is mentioned below:
  • OBC-NCL – 33 years
  • SC – 35 years
  • PwD-OBC – 43 years
  • PwD General – 40 years
  • PwD-SC – 45 years
  • Ex-Serviceman (XSM) – according to the norms of the government of India
  • J & K Migrants (domiciled between 01.01.80 to 31.12.89) – 35 years
  1. Professional Experience: The individuals must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in the area of law. They must have had work experience at Bars, law firms or tackled with legal works for either public or private enterprises or with Central/State Government. Internship at the time of the LLB course shall not be considered as work experience.
  2. Reservation: Whenever it comes to reservation or relaxation, the same shall be offered only for age limit conditions and qualifying percentage. Check the CLAT Reservation Policy. For the minimum service requirements, there will be no relaxation applied. The information for the relaxation is mentioned below:
  • The reservations and relaxations procedure is applied according to the norms of government for the individuals who belong to the SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer/XSM/PwD) category. The relaxation will be applicable for all the vacancies offered for the categories of SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer/ PwD)
  • For the PwD category candidates, the disability degree must not be less than 40%. The kind of disabilities which are classified for the PwD category are – OA (One Arm), OL (One Leg), BL (Both Legs), OAL (One Arm and One Leg), B(Blind) and LV (low vision)
  • OBC category students who belong under “Creamy Layer” will not be provided any sort of relaxation which is applied for the OBC category. They must select their category as General at the time of the registration
  • The individuals shall not be permitted to make any kind of modifications in their categories once their online application form has been submitted
  • The form fee shall not be charged from the candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwD/XSM categories at the time of online submission of the application for NTPC 2020 recruitment.

Registration for NTPC Recruitment 2020

The candidates who are seeking to join NTPC as the Law Officers via CLAT 2020 shall follow the steps mentioned below in order to fulfill the online registration procedure:

  • The individuals who are going to apply for CLAT 2020 online paper for Post Graduate courses, shall register online at www.ntpcareers.net if they seek the position of law officers. IOCL Recruitment via CLAT 2020

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will release the official notification in order to hire the Experienced Law Officers via the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) for the candidates who want to pursue the Post Graduate Course. The total vacancies will be updated soon. Students shall be asked to join in any area of India which shall depend on the demands of Indian Oil. The basic pay for the shortlisted students will be Rs.24900/-

The shortlisted students will be also provided other allowances and advantages such as Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, medical facilities, leave travel concession (LTC), etc. Those candidates shall have to implement a service bond with the Corporation in order to serve for at least 3 years from the date of Joining. The amount of bond for the candidates from General category is Rs.300000/- and for the SC/OBC/ST/PWD it would be Rs.50000/-

IOCL Eligibility 2020

The individuals who want to join the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) as Law Officer via the CLAT 2020 exam for the Post Graduate courses shall satisfy the following eligibility conditions before the actual joining:

  1. Academic Qualification: The students must have cleared the qualifying paper and also own a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or an equal level of paper – full-time degree program) from a recognizable Indian Universities/Institutes. Some of the important details in regard to the educational qualification has been provided below.
  • The candidates who wish to apply under the General/OBC category must have acquired at least 60% marks in the qualifying paper. For the students who belong to the SC/ST/PwD category, the qualifying score is relaxed to a minimum of 55%
  • The Qualifying degree must be identifiable by the Bar Council
  • The individuals shall have to acquire a different certificate from the university/institution from which they have cleared the qualifying paper, if that University/Institution is following a procedure of awarding Letter Grade or Point Scale for the calculation. The certificate must visibly establish the relationship between the Letter Grade (or Point Scale) with the percentage of marks. Students must submit the same during the interview
  1. Age Limit: The upper age limit is 30 years for the candidates from General Category. The age-relaxation for individuals from the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL and PwD) will be applicable according to the Presidential Directive
  • SC – 35 years
  • J & K Migrants (domiciled between 01.01.80 to 31.12.89) – 35 years
  • OBC-NCL – 33 years
  • Ex-Serviceman (XSM) – 35 years
  1. Professional Experience: The students must have previous work experience of minimum of 2 years in the law field. They shall need to provide the documents of work experience for the same field, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. They shall provide both the originals and the attested photocopies of same
  • The candidates who are working at the Bar or participating with the Law Firms shall produce the documents which are Certificate of award of Degree, Copy of the registration certificate with the Bar Council and Experience certificate which must be issued by solicitor/ advocate / Law Firm / Bar Association as applicable
  • Those who are undertaking the legal work for the employment purposes with the Private/ Public Organizations or with Central/ State Governments must produce the documents which are Certificate of award of Degree and Experience Certificate from the Employer
  • Internships at the time of the continuation of LLB will not be considered valid for the motif of evaluating the work experience
  1. Reservation: The positions for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories shall be kept according to the guidelines of the government of India
  • Individuals who seek relaxation and come under OBC-NCL category shall make sure that their caste and community name must appear in the ‘Central list of other backward Classes’
  • OBC category students must not belong under the Creamy Layer
  • The individuals must provide valid OBC certificate in the prescribed format by the government of India
  • For those belonging to PwD categories, the disability degree must not be less than 40%

IOCL 2020 Registration

The students who are planning to apply for the positions of Law Officers in IOC shall first register for CLAT 2020 for the Programs of Post Graduate. They shall register online to Indian Oil after the receipt of CLAT 2020 application number, roll number as well as the control number. The link will be activated at the ‘People & Career’ link of Indian Oil’s official website and the dates for the same will be announced soon. The students shall not need to pay an application fee separately for registering for Indian Oil.

The entire procedure is mentioned below:

  • The students must register via the accurate online application link and also mention all the important details like CLAT 2020 application number, control number and roll number (as provided in the CLAT 2020 Admit Card) exactly in the online application form
  • Students must own all the important and required documents like percentage of marks acquired in the qualifying paper, caste/sub-caste certificate, issuing date, issuing authority’s name, state of origin, etc. before they fill in the online registration form
  • They shall upload their current photograph and signature at the time of filling the form. Both the photo and signature must be similar as produced in the CLAT 2020 application form
  • Students must submit their form once they have filled in all the required things asked in it by clicking on the button called ‘submit’ at the page bottom. Once it is successfully submitted, the system will activate a unique application ID with as the form is completed
  • The applicants shall compulsorily take a print out of the filled-in application form and must keep it safely for future reference

IOCL Selection 2020

The students who will successfully satisfy the eligibility conditions and qualify based on their CLAT 2020 score will be selected for the further selection procedure that shall include: Group Discussion (GD)/Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI).

  • Only those students who will qualify via all the phases of the selection procedure will be considered for the selection
  • The selected students shall report for GD/GT and Interview with the printed Online registration form from the official website of IOC, CLAT 2020 admit card/ hall ticket and CLAT 2019 official scorecard.
  • The individuals who are presently working with Government Departments / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies need to produce the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer and must submit it during the interview round
  • Those students must check the ‘Guidelines and Criteria for Physical Fitness for Pre-employment medical Examination’ before they apply for IOC. The instructions for medical standards are given on the official website
  • All the individuals should produce their valid email id and mobile number at the time of the application procedure. The candidates will get an SMS from IOC in regard to the status of their selection/shortlisting. The email identity shall be valid for at least the next one entire year as the official correspondence will be completely sent to this email address. Any changes in email id or mobile number must not be done after the final submission of the application form.
  • The shortlisted ones require to submit a precise release order from their previous employer. If any candidate fails to do so, they will be disqualified right away

PGCIL Recruitment via CLAT 2020

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited will soon recruit eligible individuals for the post of Executive Trainee (Law) via the CLAT exam for the Post Graduate Program. The vacancies will be announced soon, they differ from category to category. The chosen students will receive a salary package for 1 year which will be their training period. The pay scale could vary between Rs.24900-50500. The tentative CTC till the continuation training will be Rs.8.15 lakhs while on regularization post-training, it will be increased to Rs.14.44 lakhs.

The students who will be selected shall be signing a service agreement bond for which General/OBC-NCL category candidates need to pay Rs.100000/- and SC/ST/PwD individuals shall pay Rs.50000/-. The bond needs the students to finish the training successfully, and so serve PGCIL for a least of 3 years of period

PGCIL Eligibility 2020

The students who are planning to appear for the CLAT 2020 exam for the Post Graduate/LLM Program and desire to join PGCIL as Executive Trainee (Law) have to satisfy the following eligibility conditions before they apply:

  1. Educational Criteria: The students must have cleared 3 years of full-time LLB or 5 years integrated law program in order to be eligible for the position of Executive Trainee. The important points in regard to the educational conditions are mentioned below:
  • Students from the categories of General/OBC-NCL must have scored at least 60% CGPA or an equal level of degree in the qualifying paper. The qualifying marks for candidates from the SC/ST category is 50% and for PwD individuals is 55%.
  • Those who are in their final year or semester of the qualifying program can also apply but they have to provide their results by August 14, 2020 and have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in total for all semesters till the time of the pre-final exam at the point of form filling
  • The conversion of CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or Letter Grade in a degree/diploma into the percentage of marks shall be processed according to the norms of the University/Institute from where the student has cleared the qualifying test. It is compulsory for everyone to display the percentage of marks in the application form converted from grades/CGPA taking the help of the University/institute certified process. In a situation where any official procedure is not prescribed then the equation will be evaluated by dividing the CGPA acquired by the student with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100
  1. Age Limit: The upper age limit for the students belonging to the General category is 28 years, For other categories candidates, the age limit is mentioned below:
  • OBC-NCL – 31 years
  • PwD – 38 years for PwD-Gen; 41 years for PwD-OBC-NCL; 43 years for PwD-SC/ST
  • SC/ST – 33 years
  • J & K migrants/Ex-servicemen/Victims of Riots – As per the directives of the government of India
  1. Reservation: The candidates from the reserved categories shall be admissible for the relaxation according to the directives of the government of India
  • Students who avail relaxation from J&K Domicile / Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots must produce Domicile/Discharge certificate in the required format as well as issued by a competent official during the interview
  • Those who want to apply under the SC/ST shall provide a copy of the SC/ST certificate which shall be issued by a competent official during the interview. Applicants who want to apply under the OBC-NCL category must submit a copy of OBC-NCL certificate with the declaration of the NCL in the required format of the government of India
  • Those who want age-relaxation under the category of Persons with Disability category shall provide the Disability Certificate must be issued by a Government Medical Board in the format required by the government of India.
  • The disability level must not be under 40% for PwD individuals to be considered eligible for relaxation. PwD candidates are further segregated into OH (Orthopedically Handicapped-OL/ BL/ OAL) and VH (Visually Handicapped- B/ LV)
  • PGCIL Departmental students can also apply for the age-relaxation. There is no upper age limit applicable for the same and the qualifying score is 55% for UR/OBC – NCL/PwD(VH). Distance/Part-time degree from an identifiable Institute/University

NOTE: Indian Citizens who are above 18 years of age are the only ones considered eligible to register for PGCIL

PGCIL Recruitment 2020

The students need to apply and then appear in CLAT 2020 for Post Graduate Program.

  • The individuals can register thereafter at PGCIL official website from CLAT 2020 Application Number, CLAT 2020 Control Number, and CLAT Roll Number. The link will be activated at the CARRER-Job section on the official website.

  • There is no application of form fee for registering to PGCIL

PGCIL Selection 2020

The students shall first write the CLAT 2020 paper for the Post Graduate program to be eligible for the selection procedure.
