NIFT Admit Card 2020- NIFT DAT Admit Card

NIFT Admit Card 2020 will be released by the National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT) in the second week of January 2020.

On the basis of information furnished by applicants in the NIFT Application Form, Admit Cards of provisionally eligible candidates will be available to download from the official website.

Applicants are advised to check the NIFT website regularly for updates.

  • NIFT 2020 Admit Card is a mandatory document without which applicants will not be allowed to appear for the exam
  • NIFT Admit card will only be available in the Online mode and candidates are hereby notified that admit card will not be sent by any other means such as post or by hand under any circumstances.
  • NIFT 2020 will be an offline paper-based test for all UG and PG Programs tentatively scheduled in the third week of January 2020, to be conducted in 32 Indian cities. Candidates are required to select only one examination city according to their choice during the application process.
  • Candidates should reach the Examination Centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the examination
  • Mobiles and other infotech gadgets are not allowed inside the Examination Centre.
  • NIFT 2020 comprises the written test, situation test, and GD/PI. There are two papers in the written exam – Creative Ability Test (CAT), and General Ability Test (GAT). Candidates can attempt all the questions as there is no negative marking.
  • For B.Des and M.Des courses, the GAT exam will be 2 hours. On the other hand, the duration of B.F.Tech, MFM & M.F.Tech, GAT exam will be for 3 hours.

How to Download NIFT Admit Card 2020?

Admit Cards of provisionally eligible candidates will be available for download in NIFT official website www.nift.ac.in from the second week of January 2020 onwards. Admit cards will not be sent by post.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the NIFT website for updates. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the admit card:

  • Step I: Visit the official website of NIFT, www.nift.ac.in
  • Step II: Click on the tab ‘NIFT 2020 Admit Card’
  • Step III: Enter the required information as demanded by the page
  • Step IV: Download and take a print out of NIFT 2020 Admit Card.

Note: In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page the candidate may immediately approach the concerned authority.

Details Mentioned on NIFT Admit card

On the basis of information furnished by applicants in the NIFT Application Form, the following details will be printed on the NIFT 2020 Admit Card:

Candidates are advised to verify every detail present on their admit card. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately Contact the NIFT Authority officials to rectify errors at the earliest.

Admit Card cannot be edited online, it can only be corrected by approaching NIFT Authority. Ensure that the errors are corrected before the entrance exam. Some of the common errors in NIFT 2019 admit card may include the following:

  • Name, gender, date of birth, gender, category, date, test center and time of the exam.
  • In case there are other issues or queries about the hall ticket or exam contact the respective NIFT’s contact number provided on the institution website.

It is essential that incorrect information is corrected before the exam and is reflected in the updated admit card.

NIFT Admit Card for Situation Test

  • After clearing the written test of NIFT 2020 Entrance Exam qualified candidates to need to appear for the situation test Exam In the month of March 2020 for UG Courses and for admission in master’s programs they need to appear for Group Discussion/ Interview round.
  • Candidates need to download Admit Card for situation test Exam from the NIFT official website by entering details such as their – Application Number, Roll Number and Date of Birth by following the same steps mentioned above
  • Candidates need to take a print of their Situation Test Admit card and carry the same to their NIFT test Centre.

NIFT Exam Centers

  • NIFT 2020 will be an offline paper-based test for all UG and PG Programs tentatively scheduled in the third week of January 2020, to be conducted in 32 Indian cities.
  •  Candidates are required to select only one examination city according to their choice during the application process.
  • Once selected the candidate will not be able to change the examination center opted and nor any request for a change in examination center will be entertained by NIFT that reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres tabulated below:

Important Instructions for NIFT Exam Center

  • Candidates need to positively carry their NIFT 2020 admit card and a valid photo ID proof.
  • Candidates appearing for NIFT 2020 exam for B.Des and M.Des admission need to carry their own stationery for the written entrance exam.
  • Candidates should reach the Examination Centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
  • Mobiles and other infotech gadgets are not allowed inside the Examination Centre.
  • Candidates found with mobile or other infotech gadgets will be asked to leave the examination Centre and shall be disqualified.
