Applications are invited by Mumbai Port Trust for recruitment to various posts. A total number of 150 vacancies will be filled through this process. (Separate notifications are released for the posts.) The official Mumbai Port Trust Notification 2018 was released on 26th April 2018. The application process started on the same date i.e. 26th April 2018. And the last date to apply for the posts is 17th May 2018. Eligibility Criteria as in Mumbai Port Trust Notification 2018

  • Age Limit – You must be above the age of 14 years as on 1st May 2018. There is no maximum age limit.
  • Educational Qualification
    • PASAA – You must have cleared National Trade Certificate exam in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Assistant in ITI.
    • Graduate Apprentice – You must have a B. Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.
    • Technician Apprentice – You must have a Diploma degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.

The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

How to Apply for Mumbai Port Trust Recruitment 2018

  1. First of all, visit the NCVT MIS web portal or NATS web portal according to the post.
  2. Then, register yourself on the site.
  3. And print the registration/enrollment form and note down the registration number.
  4. Then, visit the Mumbai Port Trust official website.
  5. Under Media tab, click on the Vacancy link.
  6. Then, click on the Advertisement link.
  7. Then, click on Trade Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act.
  8. Finally, you can find the official notices for the posts.
  9. Then, click on the Application Form link.
  10. Alternatively, you can also click on the direct link given above and skip the steps above.
  11. Now, download the form and take a printout.
  12. Then, send the filled-in form along with required documents, registration form, fee payment receipt to the following address – Apprentice Training Centre, First Floor, MbPT’s Workshops, N. V. Nakhwa Marg, Mazgaon (East), Mumbai – 400010.

Application Fee

Rs.20/- by Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque/Pay Order payable at Mumbai in favour of ”The Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai”. Or you can pay the fee via NEFT transaction.

  • Graduate Apprentice – Rs.4984/- per month (Stipned)

      Please visit State Employment Exchange website for online registration.
      If you are not a registered member, you need to register to create your account.
      Log in to State Employment exchange website with your credentials.
      Select the district name. In case of certain states, your native state and district details are also asked for. Hence follow the instructions given in the respective state portal.
      Fill the profile form. On submission of the form, an acknowledgement containing the Registration Number, Registration Date and Name of the Employment Exchange is generated.
      This acknowledgement may be printed and kept for future reference.
      Produce all relevant certificates in support of education, experience, caste, sports, handicapped (issued by Medical Board/CMO), ex-serviceman, widow, freedom fighter and proof of residence etc. to the Employment Exchange mentioned within 15 days from the date registration. The time limit may vary from state to state.
