AIMA MAT 2016 (MAT May 2016) - Management Aptitude Test

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is entrance exam attended by a majority of the students who wants to get an admission to a commercial management course. If you would like to pass the MAT Entrance Exam, then you need to work hard. If you are a strong aspirant, then you can achieve it easily. MAT Examination is being conducted every year for the students.

Upcoming MAT Examination is in May. This test is conducted both in computer and paper based. On May 1st, the paper-based examination will be held. The candidates who would like to attend the computer-based test can be ready for May 7th, 2016.

Quantitative Ability

The quantitative ability sector will involve topics like Geometry, Ratios, Percentages, Algebra, Profit & Loss, and Averages etc. You can expect a number of other topics similar to these. Simple and compound interest can be another part of the quantitative ability. If you were good in Mathematics in school days, then this division will be quite easy for you to handle.

Data Interpretation and Reasoning

Data Interpretation unit will have questions based on Graphs. Column, pie, bar etc. can be the graphs. The reasoning section will have the questions relating to critical & visual reasoning. Statement and assumptions, identifying arguments, linear arrangements, coding and decoding etc. are the critical reasoning topics.

Language Comprehension

It is not necessary to explain about this unit as it is very common to each one of you. As you all know how the English exams go, this part will also have the simple questions related to antonyms, jumbled paragraphs, idioms, synonyms etc. If you know the basics of English Language, then you can score well in this part of MAT Examination.

General Awareness

Current Affairs, Politics, Geography, Business etc. are the fields from which you can expect questions from. But in this segment, you can always have questions from history too. So make sure that you cover all the sections in GK. Watching the news and reading newspapers can help you to keep a track on the current affairs.
