Descriptive exam:

Descriptive Exam will consist of the following:

1. Letter Writing – 10 marks

2. Essay – 20 marks

  1. Letter: Go through the format to write both formal and informal letters. Stick to the point, be brief and concise, being able to convery your ideas in few words. Understand paragraphing and break paragraph when required. Practice Writing a sample letter to yourself.
  2. Essay: Write essays in a structured manner. The paragraphs should be about the essay that is asked, do not drift away from the topic that is asked. Do not write very lengthy essays and stick to word limit of 350 words. Do practice writing 2-3 essays in the 5 days. Pick current affairs of topics that are most likely to be asked the NICL AO exams.
