Kerala TET 2017 Answer Keys

The answer keys for KTET (category I and category II examinations) have been released by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan on Monday. KTET 2017 was held on 12th August, 2017 and 19th August, 2017. Each paper was conducted for two and a half (2.5) hours. Answer Keys for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test 2017 (Category I and II) exam has been provided in this article for the ease of candidates.

KTET 2017 exam was conducted by the Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala in accordance with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Steps to Download Kerala TET 2017 Answer Keys

Below given are the steps to download/check the anser keys for Kerala TET 2017 Exam:

  • Select Category I or Category II to view the answer key according to your choice
  • The answer key will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the answer key and take a print out of the same for future reference

Selection categories- Kerala TET 2017

The KTET 2017 selection will comprise four categories:

  • The first three categories will comprise of teacher posts of lower primary, upper primary and high school classes
  • The last category would be for the language teachers in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to upper primary level), specialist teachers and physical education teachers (up to high school level).

Cut Off Percentage- KTET 2017

A person who scores 60% or more in the KTET examination will be considered as ‘KTET passed’ or ‘KTET qualified’.

KTET 2017 all the categories including 1, 2, 3 & 4 papers comprised a total of 150 questions carrying 1 mark each. Both the papers contained objective type questions. To qualify in the KTET exam, the General candidates are required to obtain at least 60% marks. For SC/ST/OBC/OEC category candidates, the minimum requirement is of 55% and for PH and visually impaired candidates, it is 50%.

The Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan is fully authorized to exclude from evaluation of any question/s found to be wrong or question/s with answers not appropriate as preffered by the panel of experts. When question/s is/are excluded from the evaluation, the mark/s allotted to that question/s will also be excluded from evaluation.

Awards to Top Rank Holders

The top rank holders who score the most marks in KTET 2017 exam will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 (1st Rank), Rs 15,000 (2nd Rank) and Rs 10,000 for the (3rd rank) holder, for all categories. All the names of the top rank holders will be published on the website along with the result.
