Karnataka CET KCET cutoff 2017 is the minimum rank that an appplicant needs to have to be eligible for admission. If applicants are able to meet the cutoff set by Karnataka CET and its participating institute, they will be able to secure admission in an institute according to score. The cutoff will be given according to closing rank. Applicants who are able to score higher than prescribed cutoff will be able to participate in counseling session. The cutoff and rank will vary according to the participating colleges, course and category of KCET.
Candidates will have to qualify in the entrance examination of Karnataka CET 2017 which was held on May 2 and May 3 2017. The online results have been declared on 30th May 2017.
Important Things to know in KCET 2017:

|Time of each paper||80 minutes for each paper of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics|
|Total time of exam||320 minutes of 5 hours and 30 minutes|
The KCET 2017 Cutoff will be announced by the committee of Karnataka Examination Authority or KEA. The applicants who meet the required cutoff will be alloted seats in the participating engineering colleges and institutes.KCET Cutoff 2017
- For general category, the Student should score 50 % of the Total Marks in KCET 2017.
For SC, ST and OBC Categories, the Candidates should score 40% to qualify.
Also, weightage based according to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scores for Engineering Students.
Other streams will consider marks and weightage according to Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
