Intelligence Bureau Exam Pattern:

Intelligence Bureau Exam Pattern is as stated below: The Intelligence Bureau exam has three stages and candidates need to qualify in each stage to qualify as an Assistant Central Intelligence Officer.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES in Intelligence Recruitment 2017:

  1. The candidate has to appear in Tier-I Examination
  2. There will be negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer in Tier-I . No marks for question that is not attempted.
  3. Candidates who clear Tier I exam with good marks will be called for Tier II exam. The minimum cutoff marks for Tier I exam is 33%
  4. On the basis of combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-II, the candidates would be short listed for the interview.
  5. Based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and interview, the candidates would be short listed for final selection subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination.

Intelligence Bureau Exam Pattern for Interview:

Interview consists of 100 marks

Tier I and Tier II candidates will be selected for Interview. Candidates will be selected based on combined score of Tier I, Tier II and Interview.
