IIM IPM Pattern
IIM IPM is conducted by IIM Indore. The IIM IPM Is a five year integrated management program conducted by IIM Indore for students who have completed Class 12. This is a unique opportunity for candidates who have completed their HSC or Class 12 to enter into the classrooms of the IIM, Indore.
After 3 years of intensive study equivalent of a undergraduate course, the IPM participants train as managers along with the participants of the IIM’s 2-year Post Graduate Program in Management, taking the same course package in management studies in years 4 and 5. The first batch of IIM IPM graduated in March 2016.
Eligibility Criteria:
- General and NC-OBC Category: Minimum 60% in standard X / SSC and Standard XII / HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2017.
- SC, ST and PWD (DA) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X / SSC and standard Xll / HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 22 years of age as on July 31, 2017.
Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2018 can also apply, subject to meeting
Selection Process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in SAT, Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear in WAT and PI shall not be considered for selection. The selection process is as follows:
Stage 1: Candidates must submit Application form
Stage 2: Candidates will be shortlisted based on SAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Written Ability Test and Personal Interview at any of the IIM IPM Test centres.
Test Centers for IIM IPM will be at the following cities: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. Candidates who clear Stage 2 will be shortlisted for Stage 3 of the Selection process.
Stage 3: Candidates who perform well in Each stage of selection and satisfy all requirements will be considered for the final selection. Merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS). Allotment of seats will also be based on reservation norms.

Each question Carries 4 marks, while there is a negative marking scheme of 1 mark for every wrong answer. The Difficulty level of the paper would be of class 12 level.
- Quantitative Ability: Topics covered are Arithmetic (Percentage, profit and loss), Geometry, Data Interpretation, Simple Equations, Numbers, Averages, Mixtures and Alligations, Time & Distance and Time & Work.
- Verbal Ability : Topics covered are are Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, PFQs, Grammar, Sentence Correction, Proper usage of words, etc
