 Eligibility Criteria:  

Age Limit: Applicant should be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 40 years 

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 8th or 10th Class from a government recognized board.  

Selection Process: Interview  

Objectives of ICDS:  

  1. To improve the nutritional and health status of children in the age group 0-6 years; 
  2. To lay the foundations for proper psychological, physical and social development of the child; 
  3. To reduce the incidence of mortality, morbidity malnutrition and school drop-out; 
  4. To achieve effective coordination of policy and implementation among the various departments to promote child development; and 
  5. To enhance the capability of the mother to look after the normal health and nutrition needs through nutrition and health education. 
  6. The Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services is primarily concerned with the implementation of schemes related to children in the age group of 0-6 years, adolescent girls as well as pregnant and lactating women.
