A lot of students appeared for the Mains exam. Now, it is the time for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Mains Analysis. The exam was of Moderate- Difficult Level. The IBPS RRB Mains Exam consist of 200 questions comprising of 5 sections i.e., Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English/Hindi Language, General Awareness & Computer Knowledge. A composite time of 2 hours was given to attempt the question. The section on General awareness and Computers were a huge sigh of relief to several students. The level of difficulty of Numerical ability and Reasoning was a surprise to many.

 Quantitative Aptitude (Difficult)

The level of Quantitative Aptitude was moderate to Difficult. There were 4 sets of DI. Data interpretation included pie chart, bar graph, caselet and tabular. Each set of DI has questions from various topics like percentage, ratio, averages, partnership making it difficult and complicated. Numerical Ability was a challenge this time. The questions on Data Sufficiency were difficult to solve for the time given.

Reasoning Ability:

The level of reasoning was moderate to difficult. Puzzles and Seating Arrangement sets were hard. Students struggled with Machine input and output questions. The Reasoning section was challenging. Following topics were asked in puzzles

ENGLISH LANGUAGE: (Moderate to Difficult)

English language was more difficult as compared to those who chose Hindi. There were 2 Reading comprehensions of 7 questions each. The reading comprehension was based on Economy. In cloze test, there was not a single word filler and students had to identify the phrase or sentence for each blank in the cloze test. There were 4 sets of statements for Opposite Pairs. In Opposite Pairs, students had to identify the opposites and their pairs similar to antonyms.

General Awareness

General Awareness was moderate. This section was quite easy for those who know banking terms. The questions were mainly asked from Banking, Static and Current affairs. Most of the questions were asked from the capsule. There were questions from banking awareness and about cities in the news recently. Current affairs questions were from September and October Months.

Computer Awareness

Computer Awareness was quite easy. For an average student this section was quite easy to attempt. The questions were asked from basics of software, internet, networking, etc.
