Q. What is the selection Process for IBPS RRB?

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I:

It comprises a three-tier selection process for Officer Scale I and comprises of Prelims, Mains and GD/Interview. The selection process for IBPS RRB Officer Scale I involves the following phases:

  • Preliminary Exam
  • Mains Exam
  • Group Exercise and Interview

IBPS RRB Office Assistant:

The selection process for Office Assistant will also comprise of 2 phased i.e

IBPS RRB Scale II/ IBPS RRB Scale-III:

The IBPS RRB Scale II and Scale III comprise of Single Window Examination. There will not be any prelims or mains, just a single tier exam. The IBPS RRB is a three-tier selection process that comprises of Prelims, Mains and Interview.

Q. Do I need to clear both IBPS RRB prelims and mains to qualify for interview round?

For both Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, you need to clear the IBPS RRB prelims, to qualify for the mains. Similarly, you need to clear the Mains exam to qualify for the interview round.

Q. What is the Language Proficiency Test?

Language proficiency is very important in IBPS RRB 2019. One needs to be well versed in the local language. You should have studied the local language as part of Class 10. Those who are not proficient in the local language at the time of joining will be given a time of 6 months to learn the local language and if they fail to do so, it is up to the bank to forfeit their employment or not.
Q.  What is the Application fee for IBPS RRB Exam 2019?

  •  Rs. 600/- for all others

Candidates will lose 0.25 or 1/4th of the marks assigned to the questions for every wrong answer.
