Quantitative Aptitude:

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis for Quantitative Aptitude

Level: Moderate

The Quantitative Aptitude had 50 questions for 50 marks with a time limit of 45 minutes. There were three sets of Data Interpretation in all of 15 questions. The Data interpretation had 5 questions in each set of Caselet, Tabular DI, and Tabular DI. There were two sets of different tabular DI. In all, the section was moderate

Tabular DI: Data was about booking of berths done in trains by both Male and Female on the IRCTC website. This set had 5 questions.

2nd Set of Tabular DI: The tabular DI had data related to speed and distance of various trains. This set had 5 questions

There were 5 questions on Data Sufficiency with 2 statements in each questions.

Other Questions asked were Arithmetical word problems on problems on ages, percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Work, SI and CI, Partnership, Speed and distance.

Level: Moderate

The English language had 40 questions with a sectional time limit of 35 minutes. There were 2 Reading comprehension passages. While one RC passage had 5 questions, the other passage had 7 questions. In all, the RC passage had 12 questions.

-One RC passage was about IBM Company policy

-Another RC Passage was related to hacking of social media accounts

A lot of questions were related to word usage or were vocabulary based. Sentence Rearrangement had 5 Statements/ Sentences of which 3 were placed correctly and 2 were not placed correctly in the passage. Candidates had to rearrange the sentences correctly.
