The exam have a total of 200 questions for which you have only 2 hours in your hand. Also there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

The quantitative aptitude section also consists of 25% of the total marks. This section is little bit time-consuming sometime ,so to score more you should attain a good speed. The topics for this section should be prioritized as follows

  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Interest
  • Speed, Time & Distance
  • Permutation & Combination

There were 3 DI’s in the previous year IBPS RRB 2016 Mains Examination so we can expect 15 questions on DI this year also. You should aim to attempt at least 10-11 questions as 3 out of every 5 questions in a DI are easily doable. The time limit for DI’s should be 15-20 minutes. Some More Tips to Score More in IBPS RRB Mains Quantitative Aptitude

1.Know the most important chapters for the exam

  • First and foremost thing is to know the frequently asked chapters in the exam. So that you can prepare accordingly.
  • Another important chapter for IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 exam is Quadratic equations.
