a. Atal Pension Yojana
This scheme was launched on 9th May, 2018. It’s a pension programme which allows people to contribute an amount to their pension fund. And an equal amount will be contributed by the Government. You need to contribute to this fund for a minimum period of 20 years to be eligible to get the pension. This scheme targets to increase the number of Indians who have pension schemes.
b. Digital India Programme
It is a scheme launched by the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to connect the rural areas with high-speed internet connection. It aims to empower all citizens of India digitally. If this scheme can successfully cover the remote and poor areas, only then we can consider the programme complete.
c. INSPIRE Programme
Department of Science & Technology launched this scheme with the aim of attracting talented students to pursue science. It provides cash prizes to school students in the age group of 10 to 15, internship opportunities top 11th Grade students, and scholarship to postgraduate students for pursuing doctoral studies.
d. Samagra Shiksha Scheme
With the objective of improving learning outcomes, introducing digital education, and bridging social/gender gaps in education, this scheme was launched by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
