DMRC conducts the competitive exam to recruit for the post of AE electrical, AE electronics, JE electrical, JE electronics, Station Controller/Train Operator(SC/TO) and Customer Relationship Assistant every year. Candidates who secure minimum Cutoff marks in the entrance examination will have their names in the merit list. Given below are the minimum scores required by candidates of each category to qualify for further stages of the selection process for JE. Candidates who have secured more than cutoff marks are shortlisted for the selection process. Candidates must clear the written test and personal interview followed by a medical examination in order to get selected for Junior Engineer Electronics posts.

  • General: 55-60
  • OBC: 52-57
  • ST: 40-45
  • SC: 40-45

Junior Engineer (electrical) :

The DMRC Recruitment Cut off for the post of JE (Electrical) is prepared out of 100. The minimum scores required by the candidates in the written test, to be eligible for the DMRC Recruitment Interview. The selection process of the DMRC varies depends upon the posts. In order to get selected for Junior Engineer Electrical post, candidates have to clear written test and personal interview followed by a medical examination. Whereas written test is divided into two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2.

  • General: 60-65
  • OBC: 55-60
  • ST: 50-55
  • SC: 45-50

Station Controller/Train Operator(SC/TO):

Candidates are considered eligible for the further stages of the selection process for this post on the basis of DMRC Recruitment SC/TO cutoff. The postcode for the SC/TO (non-executive post) is NE01. Selection of the candidate for this post is based on the marks secured by them in the written test. Candidates who cleared written test will be called for Psycho Test and Personal Interview followed by a medical examination

Customer Relationship Assistant(CRA):

Candidates who secure more than or equal to cutoff marks can apply for this post. The postcode for this post is NE02. Given below is the DMRC Recruitment CRA Cutoff. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. The Selection process is comprised of three steps i.e. written test, Psycho Test and Personal interview. Candidates who cleared the written test will be called for Psycho test and personal interview.

    What will be the Cut-off

    • 1/2nd of 120 questions=60 marks
      1/4th of 60 questions=15 marks
      So total test marks=75 marks
      Rest 25 marks would be of interview.
      So grand total =100 marks.
      Cutoff of general=57 marks (approx)
