CTET Notification 2018 – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to release the much awaited Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) notification by the end of February. According to Hindi Newspaper Hindustan, the CTET 2018 will be held on May or June this year after an interval of two years. The CTET online application is a great opportunity for those who want to appear and clear CTET 2018 exam. As per several news websites  CTET Official exam notification for CTET exam date will be declared soon in the month of february. There is no fixed vacancy allotted by CTET as the number of vacancies are divided into subzone. The latest vacancies will be soon released and notified on the official website. CTET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

1.2 Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year  Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

Syllabus :

The duration exam will be two and a half hours and each question will comprise of 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking against the wrong answer. Al;l the questions in CTET examination will be multiple choice questions. Two papers will be conducted first in the morning session for class I-V and then in the evening session for class VI-VIII. The questions will be based on topics like Child development and pedagogy Mathematics and Environmental studies, Social studies and social sciences.

Selection Procedure :

CTET Notification-Candidates must know CTET 2018 Selection process even before applying for it. Therefore, here we are with complete selection procedure. According to the CTET examination authority department, candidates will be selected as per their performance in the CTET Online examination. candidates should  pass with the minimum qualifying marks of 60 % or above to qualify the exam.   • Paper I: The paper I is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II: The Paper II is for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Admit Card :

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) will release the admit card before 10 to 15 days of examination. Admit card will be released by online mode. It means candidates will have to download CTET 2018 Admit card by online mode. To download the admit card of CTET exam 2018, applicants have to enter their password and registration number. CTET Admit Card 2018 will be released only for those applicants who have dully filled the online form as well as submitted it within the fixed dates and payment of application fee.

Application Fee :

Candidats will have to pay the following application fees for this test. The Unreserved category i.e. Gen/OBC has to pay Rs.1000 for ( Both I and II paper) and Rs.600 if they want to give (either I or II Paper). The reserved category i.e. SC/ST/PH has to pay Rs. 500 (Both I and II Paper) and Rs. 300 if they want to give (either I or II Paper).

How to apply for CTET 2018?

  • Log on to the official website of ctet i.e; www.ctet.nic.in
  • Click on apply online
  • Register for CTET, then save this registration number for further process
  • Instructions will be displayed on the screen go through them carefully, CTET 2018 Application Form will appear on the screen.
  • Fill the Online Application with all the particulars
  • Click on next, Upload scanned copies of photographs and signature
  • Now deposit the application fees through Online payment mode like net banking, challan, Debit-card, debit card. Application fees for different categories is stated above.
  • Click on the submit button
  • Take out the hard copy of the application form for future reference
