Who conducts CMAT?

A society called All India Council for Technical Education conducts the CMAT Examinations according to the directions, given by the MHRD – Ministry of Human Resource Development. This is the test that guides the institutions to select the candidates for their management programs. Once you are done with the CMAT Examination, a state merit list will be published by AICTE.

Eligibility of the Candidates of CMAT 2017

An Indian Citizen who holds a degree from a reputed college/university can attend the CMAT Exam 2017. The final year students of Graduation are also eligible to apply for the CMAT Online Exam if they receive their result before the CMAT starts.

The Common Management Admission Test will be held in all the major cities from North to South. This is surely good for you. Candidates can appear for the test in their own city or in the neighbouring cities.

The Test Pattern of CMAT

You all must be familiar with the topics of CMAT. Without knowing it, it is impossible to pass the test. General Awareness plays a great role in CMAT Examination. Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Language and Logical Reasoning are the other three. Each of these sections will have 25 questions with 3 or 4 objective optional answers. The total marks will be 400 and you should try to gain the cut-off marks.  In CMAT Paper every year we will have four different sections.

You should be careful when answering each question. If you are not positive about an answer, just do not leave it with a wrong answer. It will surely deduct your percentage of marks. You will lose 1 mark for each wrong answer in the CMAT Examination 2017. The time limit to finish the test has been decided for 3 hours.

The result will be published on their official website by AICTE. You can always check it online wherever you are and whenever you need to know any new notifications.
