Who Is Conducting CLAT 2018

CLAT 2018 will be conducted by National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. If you are interested, you can start applying on their official website from 1st January 2018. You have to give the exam in online mode.

Who Is Conducting CLAT 2018 – There are 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India that holds responsibility for conducting the CLAT exam on a rotational basis. They conduct the exam to admit students to various LLM and LLB programmes on offer.

In total, there are 632 and 2352 seats available for LLM and LLB courses, respectively. They conduct the exam on the 2nd Sunday of the May month annually. And this year, the exam is on 13th May 2018.

In addition to the 18 NLUs participating in CLAT 2018, the CLAT scores will also be used by around 25 other law schools for admitting students.

CLAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria – Who Is Conducting CLAT 2018

Good news, candidates! There is no age limit for applying.

For LLB courses, you have to clear the 12th Standard examination with minimum 45% marks. For SC/ST category candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 40%.

And for LLM courses, you have to possess an LLB/Five Year Integrated LLB (Honours) degree with minimum 55% marks. SC/ST category candidates should have minimum 50% marks.

CLAT 2018 Application Fee – Who Is Conducting CLAT 2018

You have to pay an amount of Rs.4000 as application fee. SC/ST category candidates have to pay Rs.3500.

Also, you can pay the fees only via online mode.
