Ten Central Universities and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar School of Economics jointly conduct Common Entrance Test for admission. These ten Participating Universities (PUs) are:

Central University Common Entrance Test – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For UG Programme

A candidate should be 12th Pass

PG Programme

Masters Degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD)

To Pursue Ph. D Programme

An M.Phil degree is a must.
Alternative fir the above is a candidate should have Qualified UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET or SLET.
Or you should be a holder of Teacher Fellowship Or Teacher in a constituent/affiliated college/department of the university & research experience for at least two years.
Or you should be in-service candidate with three years’ experience and has master’s degree with at least 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in the relevant subjects.

Note: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit

UG Programme

Maximum Age upto: 19 years

PG Programmes:

Maximum Age upto: 25 years

CUCET Exam Pattern

For UG Programmes:

There are two parts in the question paper. Part A is for 25 marks. Part B is for 75 marks.

However, Part B will consist of four sections of 25 marks each. Students will have to solve any three depending upon their PCM/PCB Group.

Central University Common Entrance Test – How to Apply?

  1. Go to the official website
  2. Then you need to register first.
  3. Login with your generated ID and password.
  4. Fill the form carefully with all the required details.
  5. Upload a scanned passport size photograph & signature.
  6. Choose the test center.
  7. Submit the application form.
  8. Pay the application fee online or through Offline Challan mode of SBI.
