CAT Vs CMAT: CAT is the toughest management exam and CAT scores are accepted by top B-Schools. CAT is far more challenging than CMAT. CAT is one of the toughest exams to get into any of the the reputed Indian Institute of Management spread across the country. Cracking CAT is hard and getting into IIM’s is even harder.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) for admission to 20 IIMs and over 100 B-schools across India.

CMAT : Things to Know about CMAT
CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is a national level examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education under Ministry of HRD. The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test conducted in a single session to evaluate the ability of the candidate in subjects like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The CMAT score is accepted by AICTE approved institutions and universities.

CAT remains a more difficult exam to crack in comparison to CMAT. It is difficult to get into IIMs and one needs atleast more than a 99 percentile to get into CAT. While the CMAT is no cakewalk, it is certainly difficult exam, but not as difficult as the CAT in comparison.
