Educational Qualification

A Graduation Degree with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWBD) or equivalent grade, in any discipline from a University, recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Selection Process

The selection shall be by way of Online Objective Test followed by Group Discussion and Interview. After clearing the exam, a candidate will be admitted to the Canara Bank PGDBF course conducted by Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore and NIEPL, Greater Mangalore. All candidates subject to the successful completion of the PGDBF course will join as Probationary Officer.

After successful completion of the course the candidate will be posted as a Probationary Officer in any one of the branches of Canara Bank. He/She will be entitled to a salary in the payscale of Rs. 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020. Apart from the monthly salary, the selected candidate will get Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA, Medical Aid, Leave Fare Concession etc. and Perquisites like Conveyance, Furniture etc., depending on the place of posting shall be paid as per rules.
