Bihar Police Excise Sub-inspector Syllabus and Exam Pattern:  Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission has released official notification for the post of Excise Sub Inspector. There are 126 vacancies for the post of Excise Sub-Inspector.  The online application process starts from 22nd May 2018 for Bihar Police Excise SI Recruitment. The last date to apply is 30th June 2018.

The Tier I Exam is the Preliminary exam which is followed by Physical Efficiency Test in Tier 2. Candidates who get selected in Tier I exam will qualify for Tier II exam. It is essential to know the exam pattern and syllabus before starting out to prepare for an exam. Not knowing the exam pattern and syllabus is like going out without knowing the destination. Main Examination: Main written examination shall comprise of two papers. Each Paper will be of 02 Hours Time Duration.

Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standards Test: Candidates who take the Written exam will also have to take Physical Standards Test and Physical Measurement Test after written examination.

General Knowledge & Current Events: Capitals and Currencies, National: Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors. Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports: championships/ Winners/ Terms /No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages,

General Hindi: Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

General Studies: Question will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. The focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports etc.

General Science: Questions of General Science will include testing knowledge of matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. It will Also Include the Knowledge of the Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology from the level of 12th Standard.

Civics, Indian History, Geography of India: Questions of Social Study will include Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of the Geographical and Political atmosphere of Bihar, Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity,
