Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2018

• Age Limit – You must be between 18 to 40 years of age as on 1st January 2018. However, age relaxation rules apply for the reserved categories – 3 years for female/OBC, and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2018

There are three phases of the SI selection process. First, you need to appear for the Preliminary Test. This test consists of 100 questions comprising of 200 marks. You need to complete the paper within 2 hours. You need to secure minimum 30% to qualify for the Mains exam.

In the Mains exam, you need to write 2 papers. The first paper is that of Hindi Language. You need to complete this paper consisting of 100 questions and 200 marks within 2 hours. Also, you need to secure minimum 30% marks to qualify. It is qualifying in nature. The second paper is that of General Awareness. This paper, too, comprises of 100 questions and 200 marks that you need to complete within 2 hours.

For each incorrect attempt in the Mains exam, 0.20 marks will be deducted.

After you qualify the Mains round, you need to appear for and qualify the Physical Efficiency Test. This is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the Mains round.
