The Commissionerate of School Education, Andhra Pradesh(APCSE) conducts APTET exam. The APTET 2018 notification was released on 14th December 2017.The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is being conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 13 Districts of the State through a Computer Based Test. The objective is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the recruitment process in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Candidates who have applied successfully  can download their APTET call letter from 11th February 2018 as per the official notice. APCSE has also revised the exam schedule for APTET 2018. The new exam date and shift timings are provided below.

How to Download APTET Admit Card or Call Letter?

The candidates who are searching for APTET 2017 hall ticket may download their admit cards following these steps:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of APTET
  • Step 2: Click on the admit card link or login
  • Step 3: Enter your exam details such as roll number, registration number, dob, password etc.
  • Step 4: Submit the details
  • Step 5: APTET 2017 Admit Card admit card will be displayed on the screen. Carefully check all your details such as name, paper, date of birth, gender, test centre name, city, state, code of eligibility and category on APTET 2017 Admit Card.
  • Step 6:  You can download the APTET admit card and take a printout and save it for future reference.

APTET Exam Centres:

The APTET 2017 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the 13 districts on the above mentioned dates (i.e. 17.01.2018 to 27.01.2018). Candidates may give the preferential order of the centres. However, allotment of centres shall be the discretion of the department and request for change of test centres or sessions is not allowed under any circumstances.

20% weightage will be given to APTET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government. In other words, 20% weightage is for APTET score and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) for drawing up the selection list.

APTET Result 2018

The final result will be declared on 17th March 2018 on its official website. All the qualified candidates will get APTET certificate.Validity of APTET certificate will be 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
