DMRC JE Notification 2018

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had notified about the recruitment of Junior Engineer for a huge number of vacancies. The application form to apply for DMRC Junior Engineer released in the month of January 2018. Applicants appeared for the exam on April 9th, 2018 and exam continued till 20th April 2018.

DMRC Junior Engineer Vacancy

The department had released a total of 645 vacancies for JE earlier this year. This is quite a good number of DMRC JE vacancies for all the candidates who want to apply for DMRC JE recruitment 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

  • To be eligible to appear in DMRC JE 2018, a candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate must possess the required 3 Year/ 4 Year Graduation Degree/Diploma
  • An applicant also needs to fulfill some Medical/Health criteria to be eligible for Final Selection

DMRC Application Form - How to Apply

The application link is not active now. The application procedure has been given according to the past few years.

  • Visit the official website of DMRC i.e. delhimetrorail.com
  • Click on the ‘Careers.’ option
  • Here, you will be able to see a notification related to various current and past vacancies.
  • Click on the JE notification
  • Upload the colored passport sized photo of candidate, along with the signature and caste/category certificate (if applicable).
  • After the form has been filled successfully, DMRC servers will generate the Bank Challan for fee payment by the candidate, with a unique Bank reference number.
  • Pay the fee through Bank Challan in any branch of SBI. Fee need to be paid after at least 24 hours from the generation of challan.
  • After two working days from fee payment, candidates can apply for the acknowledgement receipt on DMRC’s website.
  • After this step, DMRC servers will generate a final registration slip for candidate. This slip will mention your unique registration number, post applied for and personal details
  • Candidates are advised to keep a copy of this slip with them for future reference.

Application Fee

To apply for DMRC JE, below are required application fee:

For General/ OBC Candidates – Rs 500/-

Female/SC/ST/PwD – Rs. 250/-

Selection Process

Candidates are selected on the basis of the marks obtained in the Computer based test (CBT). The CBT consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II.

DMRC JE Exam Pattern

The Computer based test consists of Paper I and Paper II. Candidates qualifying in Paper-I & Paper-II and rank high on the merit list within the zone of consideration in (Both Paper-I & Paper-II separately) as decided by DMRC shall be called, based on the overall merit of CBT(both Paper-I & Paper-II together), category wise, for Medical Examination/GD & Interview, at Delhi/NCR.
