लेह में अनावरण किया गया विश्‍व का सबसे बड़ा खादी राष्ट्रीय ध्वज, जिसका वजन 1,000 किलोग्राम

• खादी के कपड़े से बना विश्‍व का सबसे बड़ा राष्ट्रीय ध्वज, लेह, लद्दाख में 02 अक्टूबर, 2021 को महात्मा गांधी की 152वीं जयंती के अवसर पर स्थापित किया गया है। खादी राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का उद्घाटन लद्दाख के उपराज्यपाल आरके माथुर ने किया था। झंडा मुंबई स्थित खादी डायर्स और प्रिंटर द्वारा बनाया गया है जो खादी ग्राम और उद्योग आयोग से संबद्ध है।
• सुरा-सोई इंजीनियर रेजिमेंट को राष्ट्रीय ध्वज को मुंबई से लेह लाने और अनावरण समारोह के लिए ऊंचे पहाड़ों की चोटी पर स्थापित करने की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई थी।

 मेघालय की उमंगोट नदी भारत की सबसे स्वच्छ नदी

• मेघालय में उमंगोट नदी देश में सबसे स्वच्छ है, जल शक्ति मंत्रालय ने एक ट्वीट में इसकी जानकारी साझा की। दावकी नदी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध, उमनगोत नदी मेघालय के शिलांग से 100 किलोमीटर दूर है।
• जल शक्ति मंत्रालय ने ट्विटर पर लिखा, "ऐसा लगता है जैसे नाव हवा में है, पानी इतना साफ और पारदर्शी है। काश हमारी सभी नदियां उतनी ही स्वच्छ होतीं।

 कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री विजयनगर के नए जिले का उद्घाटन करेंगे

• कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री बसवराज बोम्मई शनिवार को एक कार्यक्रम में राज्य के नए जिले के रूप में विजयनगर का उद्घाटन करेंगे। विजयनगर कर्नाटक का 31वां जिला बन जाएगा।
• बोम्मई विजयनगर जिले में विभिन्न विकास कार्यों के लिए 464 करोड़ रुपये के पैकेज की घोषणा कर सकते हैं। नए जिले में विश्व धरोहर स्थल हम्पी सहित छह 'तालुका' शामिल हैं। जिले को बेल्लारी जिले से अलग कर बनाया गया था।

 मित्र शक्ति 21: भारतीय दल श्रीलंका के लिए रवाना

• भारत-श्रीलंका द्विपक्षीय संयुक्त अभ्यास "मित्र शक्ति-21" का 8वां संस्करण 4 से 15 अक्टूबर, 2021 तक श्रीलंका के कॉम्बैट ट्रेनिंग स्कूल, अंपारा में होने वाला है। अभ्यास का उद्देश्य दोनों देशों की सेनाओं के बीच आतंकवाद विरोधी और आतंकवाद विरोधी अभियानों में अंतर-संचालन को बढ़ाना और सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को साझा करना और दोनों दक्षिण एशियाई देशों के बीच संबंधों को और मजबूत करना है।
• इस अभ्यास में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आतंकवाद विरोधी और आतंकवाद विरोधी माहौल में उप-इकाई स्तर पर सामरिक स्तर के संचालन शामिल होंगे और दोनों दक्षिण एशियाई राष्ट्रों के बीच संबंधों को और मजबूत करने में एक लंबा सफर तय करेंगे और दोनों सेनाओं के बीच जमीनी स्तर पर तालमेल और सहयोग लाने में उत्प्रेरक के रूप में कार्य करेंगे।

भारतीय स्टार हॉकी खिलाड़ी बीरेंद्र लाकड़ा और एसवी सुनील ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हॉकी से संन्यास की घोषणा की

• भारत की पुरुष फील्ड हॉकी टीम के अनुभवी फॉरवर्ड और स्टार स्ट्राइकर एस वी सुनील और ओलंपिक कांस्य पदक विजेता भारतीय हॉकी स्टार डिफेंडर बीरेंद्र लाकड़ा ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हॉकी से संन्यास की घोषणा की है।
• 31 वर्षीय लाकड़ा उप-कप्तान के रूप में टोक्यो ओलंपिक 2020 में कांस्य पदक जीतने वाली भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा थे। उन्होंने 197 मैचों में 10 गोल के साथ भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है। 32 वर्षीय सुनील ने राष्ट्रीय टीम के लिए 264 मैचों में 72 गोल किए हैं।

• सन्नी कोलब्रेली 22 वर्षों में पेरिस-रूबैक्स स्मारक मूल जीतने वाले पहले इतालवी बने।
• स्टाफ बहरीन विक्टोरियस के यूरोपीय चैंपियन ने बेल्जियम के फ्लोरियन वर्मीर्श (लोट्टो सौडल) और डचमैन मैथ्यू वैन डेर पोएल (एल्पेसिन-फेनिक्स) को पछाड़ दिया, जो क्रमशः दूसरे और तीसरे स्थान पर रहे।

यूपी सरकार की 'एक जिला-एक उत्पाद' योजना की ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनीं कंगना रनौत

• मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ के नेतृत्व वाली उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने दिग्गज बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री कंगना रनौत को राज्य की महत्वाकांक्षी "एक जिला एक उत्पाद (One District One Product - ODOP) योजना" का ब्रांड एंबेसडर नामित किया है। सीएम योगी ने कंगना को एक चांदी का सिक्का भी भेंट किया जिसका इस्तेमाल 'राम जन्म भूमि पूजन के लिए किया गया था।
• यूपी सरकार ने राज्य के 75 जिलों में उत्पाद-विशिष्ट पारंपरिक औद्योगिक केंद्र बनाने के उद्देश्य से एक जिला-एक उत्पाद (ओडीओपी) कार्यक्रम शुरू किया है।
• यह योजना यूपी के ऐसे स्वदेशी और विशिष्ट उत्पादों और शिल्प को प्रोत्साहित करती है जो कहीं और नहीं मिलते हैं।

 सम्‍मेलन एवं समझौते

FSSAI ने क्षेत्र में सूक्ष्म उद्यमों की सहायता के लिए खाद्य प्रसंस्करण मंत्रालय के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए

• एफएसएसएआई और भोजन प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय के बीच सहयोग के दो क्षेत्र होंगे- खाद्य सुरक्षा प्रशिक्षण और सूक्ष्म उद्यमों का पंजीकरण।
• एफएसएसएआई ने सूक्ष्म स्तर के खाद्य उद्यमियों और किसान उत्पादक संगठनों (एफपीओ) की सहायता के लिए खाद्य प्रसंस्करण मंत्रालय के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
• शुक्रवार को हस्ताक्षरित एमओयू का लक्ष्य स्वयं सहायता टीमों (एसएचजी) और उत्पादक सहकारी समितियों को उनकी खाद्य सेवाओं के सामान्य स्तर को बढ़ाने में सहायता करना है।
• "आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान के एक भाग के रूप में, यह कदम सूक्ष्म उद्यमों को अपने खाद्य उत्पादों के स्तर को बढ़ाने और आक्रामक बनने में मदद करेगा," भारतीय भोजन सुरक्षा और आवश्यकता प्राधिकरण (FSSAI) ने एक घोषणा में उल्लेख किया।

KRIBHCO, CSC  ई-गवर्नेंस सर्विसेज इंडिया ने कृषि-इनपुट उत्पादों के बाजार के लिए समझौता किया

• सीएससी ई-गवर्नेंस सर्विसेज इंडिया ने चार लाख ग्राम स्तर के उद्यमियों के माध्यम से किसानों को उर्वरक और कृषि इनपुट तक पहुंच प्रदान करने के लिए कृषक भारती सहकारी (कृभको) के साथ सहयोग किया है।
• सामान्य सेवा केंद्र (सीएससी) कृभको उत्पादों की बिक्री और वितरण की सुविधा प्रदान करेंगे जिसमें आयातित यूरिया, डीएपी, एनपीके/एनपीएस, जैव उर्वरक, शहरी खाद, जिंक सल्फेट, प्रमाणित बीज, संकर बीज और शीरा से प्राप्त पोटाश जैसे उर्वरक शामिल हैं।

World's largest khadi national flag, weighing 1,000 kg, unveiled in Leh

• The world’s largest national flag, made up of Khadi cloth, has been installed in Leh, Ladakh, on the occasion of the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 02, 2021. The Khadi national flag was inaugurated by Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur. The flag is made by Khadi Dyers and Printers based in Mumbai which is affiliated to the Khadi Village and Industries Commission.
• The Sura-Soi Engineer Regiment was entrusted with the responsibility of bringing the national flag from Mumbai to Leh and also with the task of installing it at the top of the high mountains for the unveiling ceremony.

 Umngot river of Meghalaya is India's cleanest river

• The Umngot river in Meghalaya is the cleanest in the country, the Ministry of Jal Shakti said in a tweet. Popularly known as Dawki river, river Umngot is 100 kilometre from Shillong in Meghalaya.
• "It seems as if the boat is in the air; water is so clean and transparent. Wish all our rivers were as clean. Hats off to the people of Meghalaya," The Ministry of Jal Shakti wrote on Twitter.

 Karnataka CM set to inaugurate new district of Vijayanagar

• Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate Vijayanagar as the new state district at an event on Saturday. Vijayanagar will become the 31st district of Karnataka.
• According to sources, Bommai is expected to announce a package of Rs 464 crore for various development works in Vijayanagar district. The new district comprises six 'taluks', including the World Heritage site Hampi. The district was carved out of Bellary district.

 Mitra Shakti 21: Indian Contingent Leaves For Sri Lanka

• The 8th edition of the India – Sri Lanka bilateral joint Exercise “Mitra Shakti-21” is scheduled to take place at Combat Training School, Ampara in Sri Lanka from October 4 to 15, 2021. The aim of the exercise is to enhance interoperability and sharing best practices in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations between Armies of both countries and further strengthen the relationship between both the South Asian Nations.
• The exercise will involve tactical level operations at the sub-unit level in an international Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism environment and will go a long way in further strengthening the relationship between both the South Asian Nations and will act as a catalyst in bringing synergy and cooperation at the grass-root level between both Armies.

Indian star hockey player Birendra Lakra and SV Sunil announced retirement from International Hockey

• S V Sunil, the veteran forward and star striker of India men’s field hockey team and Olympic bronze medal-winning Indian hockey star defender Birendra Lakra have announced their retirement from international hockey.
• The 31-year-old Lakra was part of the bronze medal-winning Indian side in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 as vice-captain. He has represented India in 197 games with 10 goals. The 32-year-old Sunil has scored 72 goals in 264 appearances for the national team.

 Italian Sonny colbrelli wins epic Paris- Roubaix classic

• Sonny Colbrelli grew to become the primary Italian to win the Paris-Roubaix Monument basic in 22 years.
• The European champion, of Staff Bahrain Victorious, pipped Belgian Florian Vermeersch (Lotto Soudal) and Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix), who have been second and third respectively.

Kangana Ranaut becomes brand ambassador of UP govt's 'one district-one product' scheme

• The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has named veteran Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut as the brand ambassador of the ambitious “One District One Product (ODOP) scheme” of the state. CM Yogi also presented Kangana with a silver coin which was used for ‘Ram Janm Bhumi Pujan’.
• The UP government has launched the one district-one product (ODOP) programme with the aim to create product-specific traditional industrial hubs across 75 districts of the state.
• The scheme encourages such indigenous and specialized products and crafts of UP that are not found anywhere else.

FSSAI inks MoU with meals processing ministry to assist micro enterprises in sector

• There will likely be two areas of collaboration between FSSAI and Ministry of Meals Processing Industries — meals security coaching and registration of micro enterprises.
• FSSAI has signed an MoU with meals processing ministry to assist micro-level meals entrepreneurs and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
• The MoU, signed on Friday, additionally goals to assist Self Assist Teams (SHGs) and producers cooperatives to enhance the usual of their meals companies.
• “As a part of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, this step will help make micro enterprises enhance the standard of their meals merchandise and develop into aggressive,” Meals Security and Requirements Authority of India (FSSAI) mentioned in an announcement.

KRIBHCO, CSC e-Governance Services India tie up to market agri-input products

• CSC e-Governance Services India has collaborated with Krishak Bharati Cooperative (KRIBHCO) to provide access to fertilisers and agricultural inputs to farmers via four lakh village level entrepreneurs.
• Common Services Centres (CSCs) will facilitate the sale and distribution of KRIBHCO products which include fertilisers like imported urea, DAP, NPK/NPS, bio-fertiliser, city compost, zinc sulphate, certified seeds, hybrid seeds and potash derived from molasses.
