असम के मुख्‍यमंत्री हिमंत सरमा ने 'अभिभावक मंत्री' नियुक्ति किए

• असम के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने राज्य के सभी 34 जिलों में सरकारी नीतिगत फैसलों, प्रशासनिक सुधारों और अन्य कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के कार्यान्वयन की निगरानी के लिए 'अभिभावक मंत्री (Guardian Ministers)' नियुक्त किए हैं।
• इन जिलों के संतुलित, तेज और सतत विकास के लिए असम के सभी 34 जिलों के लिए 13 'अभिभावक मंत्री' नियुक्त किए गए हैं। नियत मंत्री सभी केंद्र प्रायोजित योजनाओं के साथ-साथ राज्य की अपनी प्राथमिकता वाले कार्यक्रमों के कार्यान्वयन के लिए जिम्मेदार होंगे।

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने सेहत ओपीडी पोर्टल लॉन्च किया

• रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से 'सर्विसेज ई-हेल्थ असिस्टेंस एंड टेली-कंसल्टेशन OPD पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है। पोर्टल का मुख्य उद्देश्य सेवारत सशस्त्र बलों के कर्मियों, दिग्गजों और उनके परिवारों को टेलीमेडिसिन सेवाएं प्रदान करना है।
• टेलीमेडिसिन सेवाओं का लाभ उठाने के लिए पोर्टल को https://sehatopd।in/ पर एक्सेस किया जा सकता है।
• सेहत OPD पोर्टल उन्नत सुरक्षा सुविधाओं के साथ अंतिम संस्करण है।
• परीक्षण संस्करण अगस्त 2020 में लॉन्च किया गया था और बीटा संस्करण पर 6,500 से अधिक चिकित्सा परामर्श पहले ही किए जा चुके हैं।

वन धन योजना को लागू करने के लिए TRIFED और NITI AAYOG ने साझेदारी की

• TRIFED (भारतीय जनजातीय सहकारी विपणन विकास संघ), जनजातीय मामलों का मंत्रालय नीति आयोग द्वारा चिन्हित 39 जनजातीय आकांक्षात्मक जिलों में वन धन योजना के तहत वन धन विकास केंद्र (VDVK) पहल के कार्यान्वयन के लिए नीति आयोग के साथ साझेदारी करने के लिए तैयार है। इनमें आंध्र प्रदेश, असम, छत्तीसगढ़, गुजरात, झारखंड, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, मणिपुर, मेघालय, मिजोरम, नागालैंड, ओडिशा, तेलंगाना और त्रिपुरा राज्यों के जिले शामिल हैं।
• वन धन आदिवासी स्टार्ट-अप या VDVK वन-आधारित जनजातियों के लिए स्थायी आजीविका के निर्माण की सुविधा के लिए वन धन केंद्रों की स्थापना करके लघु वन उत्पादों के मूल्यवर्धन, ब्रांडिंग और विपणन के लिए एक कार्यक्रम है।
• इन आकांक्षी जिलों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा, जहां आदिवासी आबादी 50% से अधिक है।

आश्रिता: भारत की पहली महिला फ्लाइट टेस्ट इंजीनियर

• स्क्वाड्रन लीडर, आश्रिता वी ओलेटी भारतीय वायुसेना में इस भूमिका के लिए योग्य पहली और एकमात्र महिला हैं, और एक उड़ान परीक्षण इंजीनियर के रूप में, वह सशस्त्र बलों में शामिल होने से पहले विमान और हवाई प्रणालियों के मूल्यांकन के लिए जिम्मेदार होंगी।
• कर्नाटक की मूल निवासी आश्रिता वी ओलेटी ने 43वें उड़ान परीक्षण पाठ्यक्रम के भाग के रूप में स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की है।

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री, पिनाराई विजयन ने नई स्मार्ट रसोई योजना शुरू की

• केरल के मुख्यमंत्री, पिनाराई विजयन ने घोषणा की है कि एक सचिव स्तर की समिति वाम लोकतांत्रिक मोर्चा (LDF) की प्रतिबद्धताओं को पूरा करने के लिए राज्य में "स्मार्ट किचन योजना" के कार्यान्वयन पर दिशानिर्देश और सिफारिशें तैयार करेगी। इसका उद्देश्य महिलाओं के घरेलू श्रम के काम के बोझ का वर्णन करना और कम करना है। स्मार्ट किचन योजना 10 जुलाई 2021 तक शुरू की जाएगी।
• योजना के तहत राज्य की महिलाओं को रसोई घर के नवीनीकरण के लिए ऋण दिया जाएगा। किस्त योजनाओं में कम ब्याज दर पर ऋण उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। योजना महिलाओं के घरेलू श्रम के कार्यभार को कम करने का प्रयास करती है।

अशोक कुमार टोक्यो ओलंपिक में कुश्ती में अंपायरिंग करने वाले एकमात्र भारतीय रेफरी होंगे

• अशोक कुमार टोक्यो ओलंपिक खेलों के कुश्ती मैचों में अंपायरिंग करने वाले देश के एकमात्र रेफरी होंगे।
• यूनाइटेड वर्ल्ड रेसलिंग (UWW) द्वारा जारी अधिकारियों की सूची में उनका नाम था। अशोक लगातार दूसरे ओलंपिक में अंपायरिंग करेंगे। वह एक UWW रेफरी के शिक्षक भी हैं।

लेखक अलका रघुवंशी का निधन

• लेखक और कला क्यूरेटर अलका रघुवंशी का निधन हो गया। वह भारत की पहली प्रशिक्षित कला निरीक्षक थीं, जिन्होंने गोल्डस्मिथ कॉलेज, लंदन और ऑक्सफोर्ड में आधुनिक कला संग्रहालय में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया था।
• उन्होंने 25 से अधिक प्रमुख प्रदर्शनियों को क्यूरेट और डिज़ाइन किया है, जिनमें से कई ने देश और दुनिया के अन्य हिस्सों की यात्रा की है।

संयुक्त राष्ट्र शांति सैनिकों का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस 2021: 29 मई

• "संयुक्त राष्ट्र शांति सैनिकों का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस" प्रतिवर्ष 29 मई को मनाया जाता है। यह दिन उन सभी पुरुषों और महिलाओं को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए मनाया जाता है जिन्होंने अपने उच्च स्तर के व्यावसायिकता, समर्पण और साहस के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र शांति अभियानों में सेवा की और सेवा जारी रखी और उन लोगों की स्मृति का सम्मान करने के लिए जिन्होंने अपनी जान गंवाई।
• इस दिन को संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा 11 दिसंबर, 2002 को नामित किया गया था, और पहली बार 2003 में मनाया गया था। 2021 की थीम: "स्थायी शांति का मार्ग: शांति और सुरक्षा के लिए युवाओं की शक्ति का लाभ उठाना।"

आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने अपने 'पॉकेट्स' डिजिटल वॉलेट को यूपीआई से जोड़ने के लिए एनपीसीआई के साथ समझौता किया

• ICICI बैंक ने UPI (यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस) ID को अपने डिजिटल वॉलेट 'पॉकेट्स' से जोड़ने की एक अनूठी सुविधा शुरू करने की घोषणा की है, जो मौजूदा प्रथा से एक प्रस्थान का प्रतीक है जो ऐसी ID को बचत बैंक खाते से जोड़ने की मांग करता है। यह पहल उपयोगकर्ताओं को सीधे अपने 'पॉकेट' वॉलेट से छोटे मूल्य के दैनिक लेनदेन करने में सक्षम बनाती है। इसके अलावा, जिन ग्राहकों के पास पहले से ही UPI ID है, उन्हें 'पॉकेट्स' ऐप पर लॉग ऑन करने पर एक नई ID मिलेगी।

Assam’s CM Himanta Sarma Appointed ‘Guardian Ministers’

• Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has appointed ‘Guardian Ministers’ to oversee the implementation of government policy decisions, administrative reforms, and other welfare schemes in all the 34 districts of the state.
• 13 ‘Guardian Ministers’ have been appointed for all 34 districts in Assam, for balanced, speedy and sustainable developments of these districts. The assigned ministers will be responsible for the implementation of all centrally-sponsored schemes as well as the state’s own priority programmes.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched SeHAT OPD portal

• Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh has launched the ‘Services e-Health Assistance & Tele-consultation (SeHAT) OPD portal, through video conferencing. The main motive of the portal is to provide telemedicine services to the serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families.
• The portal can be accessed at https://sehatopd.in/, to avail the telemedicine services
• SeHAT OPD portal is the final version with advanced safety features.
• The trial version was launched in August 2020 and more than 6,500 medical consultations have already been carried on the beta version.

TRIFED and NITI AAYOG to partner to implement the Van Dhan Yojana

• TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India), Ministry of Tribal Affairs is set to partner with NITI Aayog for implementation of Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK) initiative under Van Dhan Yojna in 39 Tribal Aspirational districts identified by NITI Aayog. These include districts in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Telangana and Tripura.
• Van Dhan tribal start-ups or VDVK is a programme for value addition, branding & marketing of Minor Forest Produces by establishing Van Dhan Kendras to facilitate the creation of sustainable livelihoods for the forest-based tribes.
• Special focus will be on these aspirational districts, where the tribal population is more than 50%.

Aashritha : India’s first woman flight test engineer

• Squadron Leader, Aashritha V Olety is the first and only woman in the IAF qualified for the role, and as a flight test engineer, she will be responsible for evaluating aircraft and airborne systems before their induction into the armed forces.
• Aashritha V Olety, a native of Karnataka, has graduated as part of the 43rd Flight Test Course.

CM of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan launched new Smart Kitchen Scheme

• Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan has announced a secretary-level committee will formulate guidelines and recommendations on implementation of the “Smart Kitchen Scheme” in state to fulfil commitments of the Left Democratic Front (LDF). It aims to account and reduce the workload of women’s domestic labour. Smart Kitchen Scheme will be launched by July 10, 2021.
• Under the scheme, women of state will be given loan to refurbish their kitchen. Loan will be provided with a low-interest rate in instalment schemes. Scheme seeks to reduce workload of women’s domestic labour.

SPORTS

Ashok Kumar will be the only Indian referee to officiate in wrestling in Tokyo Olympics

• Ashok Kumar will be the only referee from the country to officiate in wrestling matches of the Tokyo Olympic Games. He was named in the list of officials released by the United World Wrestling (UWW).
• Ashok, who will officiate in his second consecutive Olympics. He is a UWW referees’ educator as well.

OBITUARY

Author Alka Raghuvanshi Passed Away

• Author And Art Curator Alka Raghuvanshi passed away. She was India’s first trained art curator, having trained at the Goldsmiths College, London and the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford.
• She has curated and designed over 25 major exhibitions many of which travelled to other parts of the country and the world.

International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers 2021: 29 May

• The “International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers” is observed on May 29 annually. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to all the men and women who have served and continue to serve in United Nations peacekeeping operations for their high level of professionalism, dedication, and courage and to honour the memory of those who have lost their lives in the cause of peace.
• The day was designated by United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 2002, and first celebrated in 2003. The 2021 Theme: “The road to a lasting peace: Leveraging the power of youth for peace and security.”

A new book “7 Lessons from Everest – Expedition Learnings from Life and Business” by Aditya Gupta

• Aditya Gupta, a Delhi-based entrepreneur and mountaineer aim to raise Rs 1 crore for COVID-19 relief from the sale proceeds of his recently released book “7 Lessons from Everest – Expedition Learnings from Life and Business”. The coffee-table book, with 350 stunning images spread over 250 pages, is written by Aditya Gupta.
• The book narrates the author’s experience of scaling Mt Everest at the age of 50 in 2019 and shares the virtues of “preparation, passion, perseverance, mental toughness, and resilience”. The proceeds from the book will be given to NGO Child Rights and You (CRY).

ICICI Bank collaborated with NPCI to link its ‘Pockets’ digital wallet to the UPI

• ICICI Bank has announced the launch of a unique facility of linking a UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ID to its digital wallet ’Pockets’, marking a departure from the current practice that demands such IDs be linked with a savings bank account. This initiative enables users to undertake small value everyday transactions directly from their ‘Pockets’ wallet. Further, customers who already have a UPI ID, will get a new ID when they log on to the ‘Pockets’ app.
• This initiative enables users to undertake small value everyday transactions directly from their ‘Pockets’ wallet using UPI in a safe and secure manner. It helps them to streamline the number of transactions being undertaken daily from their savings account and thus de-clutter their savings account statement of multiple entries. Further, it expands the convenient usage of UPI to young adults like college students, who may not have a savings account.
