राष्ट्रीय 

उच्च-स्तरीय समिति ने 8 राज्यों के लिए 5,751 करोड़ रुपये की धनराशि स्वीकृत की । 

• गृह मंत्री अमित शाह की अध्यक्षता में एक उच्च-स्तरीय समिति ने आपदा क्षति राहत के लिए आठ राज्यों को 5,751 करोड़ रुपये की धनराशि स्वीकृत की है। 

• राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रतिक्रिया कोष के तहत अतिरिक्त केंद्र असिस्टेंटमेस को मंजूरी दी गई है।

• वे आठ राज्यों को दिए जाएंगे जो 2019 में सूखे, बाढ़, भूस्खलन और चक्रवात से प्रभावित थे। 

• राज्यों में केरल, बिहार, नागालैंड, ओडिशा, महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान, पश्चिम बंगाल और कर्नाटक शामिल हैं। 

जन स्माल फाइनेंस बैंक ने UPI QR- आधारित ऋण की किस्त भुगतान सुविधा की लॉन्च 

जन स्माल फाइनेंस बैंक ने अपने ग्राहकों के लिए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय भुगतान निगम (National Payment Corporation of India - NPCI) के साथ मिलकर यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) QR- आधारित ऋण किस्त भुगतान सुविधा शुरू की है। यूपीआई क्यूआर आधारित ऋण किस्त भुगतान सुविधा शुरुआत में केवल जन स्माल फाइनेंस बैंक के लगभग 40 लाख से अधिक ग्राहकों के लिए उपलब्ध होगी। 

यूपीआई क्यूआर आधारित ऋण किस्त भुगतान सुविधा जन स्माल फाइनेंस बैंक के ग्राहकों को अपने ऋण खाते के लिए यूपीआई क्यूआर कोड बनाने के साथ-साथ किसी भी यूपीआई एप्लिकेशन की मदद से तुरंत किस्त भुगतान करने में सक्षम बनाएगी। 

DST ने स्टार्टअप के जरिये तकनीकी मैपिंग हेतु टास्क फोर्स का गठन किया 

विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीएसटी) ने स्टार्टअप के जरिये तकनीकी मैपिंग के लिए टास्क फोर्स का गठन किया है. डीएसट से संबंधित मसलों से निपटने हेतु उपयुक्त तकनीकी विकसित करने और भारत में निर्माण के लिए एक प्रयास का समन्वय कर रहा है. 

साथ ही नए और विकसित किए सॉल्यूसंस अधिक प्रासंगिक हैं,  समस्याओं के लिए तैयार किया जा सके. टास्क फोर्स डॉयग्नोस्टिक, टेस्टिंग, स्वास्थ्य देखभाल संबंधी तकनीक और उपकरण मुहैया कराने को लेकर बाजार आधारित समाधान की दिशा में काम करेगा. 

बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्‍था 

भारत की 2020 की आर्थिक वृद्धि के अनुमान को मूडीज ने घटा कर 2.5 प्रतिशत किया 

वैश्विक क्रेडिट रेटिंग एजेंसी मूडीज इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस ने कैलेंडर वर्ष 2020 में भारत की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर के अपने पहले के अनुमान को घटा कर 2.5 प्रतिशत कर दिया है। पहले उसने इसके 5.3 प्रतिशत रहने का अनुमान जताया था। और उसके चलते देश दुनिया में आवागमन पर रोक के मद्देनजर आर्थिक लागत बढ़ी और इसी वहज से देश की वृद्धि दर घटने का अनुमान है। वर्ष 2019 में वृद्धि 5 प्रतिशत रहने का आकलन है। 

मूडीज ने कहा है कि अनुमानित वृद्धि दर के हिसाब से भारत में 2020 में आय में तेज गिरावट हो सकती है। इससे 2021 में घरेलू मांग और आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार की दर पहले से अधिक प्रभावित हो सकती है। एजेंसी ने कहा है, 'भारत में बैंकों और गैर बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों के पास नकद धन की भारी कमी के चलते भारत में कर्ज हासिल करने को लेकर पहले से ही बड़ी बाधा चल रही है।' 

RBI की 7वीं द्वैमासिक मौद्रिक नीति जारी, के चलते दी राहत 

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक की मौद्रिक नीति समिति (MPC) ने  महामारी के मद्देनजर 31 मार्च 2020 को होने वाली द्वि-मासिक मौद्रिक नीति बैठक को पहले ही करने का निर्णय लिया है और जिससे संबंधित घोषणाए 03 अप्रैल को की जाएंगी। यह बैठके 24, 26 और 27 मार्च, 2020 तक चलेगी। सातवीं द्वि-मासिक मौद्रिक नीति की बैठक के दौरान, एमपीसी ने वर्तमान में विकास को पुनर्जीवित करने के साथ-साथ के प्रभाव को कम करने और विकसित व्यापक आर्थिक और वित्तीय स्थितियों का विश्लेषण किया और  इनसे उभरने का रुख अपनाने का फैसला किया और जिसकी की वजह से नीतिगत रेपो दर को घटा दिया गया है। इन निर्णयों से, एमपीसी का लक्ष्य मुद्रास्फीति को लक्ष्य को बनाए रखना और साथ ही वित्तीय स्थिरता को बनाए रखना है।

विश्व रंगमंच दिवस: 27 मार्च 

हर साल 27 मार्च को विश्व स्तर पर World Theatre Day 2020 यानि विश्व रंगमंच दिवस मनाया जाता है। वर्ल्ड थिएटर डे की शुरुआत 1961 में फ्रांस के इंटरनेशनल थिएटर इंस्टीट्यूट (ITI) द्वारा की गई थी। यह दिन हर आईटीआई केंद्रों और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय थिएटर समुदाय द्वारा 27 मार्च को मनाया जाता है। विश्व रंगमंच दिवस का पहला संदेश जीन कोक्ट्यू द्वारा 1962 में लिखा गया था। 

यह दिन उन लोगों के लिए एक उत्सव है जो कला रूप "थिएटर" के मूल्य और महत्व को देख सकते हैं, और सरकारों, राजनेताओं और संस्थानों को जागरूक करने का कार्य करते हैं, जिन्होंने अभी तक इसे मूल्य को मान्यता नहीं दी है और जिन्हें अभी तक आर्थिक विकास के लिए इसकी क्षमता का एहसास नहीं हुआ है।

“मिसिंग इन एक्शन: द प्रिजनर्स हू नेवर नेम बैक” शीर्षक से एक पुस्तक लॉन्च की 

वरिष्ठ पत्रकार चंदर सुता डोगरा ने अपनी दूसरी पुस्तक – “मिसिंग इन एक्शन: द प्रिजनर्स हू नेवर नेम बैक“ को संयुक्त सेवा संस्थान (यूएसआई) द्वारा आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान, विदेश मंत्रालय और के डी-वर्गीकृत रिकॉर्ड पर भरोसा करते हुए प्रक्षेपण किया अन्य स्रोत। यह हार्परकोलिन द्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है।

 National 

High-level committee approves Rs. 5,751 crore worth fund for 8 states 

• A high-level committee, chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah has approved funds worth Rs 5,751 crore to eight states for calamity damage relief. 

• The additional centre assistanmce has been approved under the National Disaster Response Fund. 

• They will be given to eight states that were affected by drought, floods, landslides and cyclones in 2019. 

• The states include Kerala, Bihar, Nagaland, Odisha, Maharashtr, Rajasthan, West Bengal and Karnataka. 

India’s largest hospital to be set up in Odisha 

• India’s largest hospital is all set to come up in Odisha, to treat patients tested positive for the current situation exclusively. 

• The 1,000 beds hospital will be completely functional in the next 15 days. 

• With this, Odisha will be the first state in the country to set up such a large-scale hospital exclusively to treat patients. 

• For this, a tripartite agreement has been signed between the state government of Odisha, medical colleges as well as corporates that will help put all the 1,000 beds required to treat infected patients.. 

Jana SFB rolls out UPI QR-based loan instalment payment facility 

• Jana Small Finance Bank has rolled out a Unified Payments Interface (UPI) QR-based loan installment payment facility along with National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) for its customers. 

• Initially the UPI QR-based loan installment payment facility will be only available to over 40 lakh customers of the Jana Small Finance Bank. 

CII sets up “CII Rehabilitation and Relief Fund” 

• The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has set up a CII Rehabilitation and Relief Fund (CRR) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) to tackle current situation. 

• The CII Rehabilitation and Relief Fund (CRR) will assist small enterprises or MSME in rehabilitation. The setting up of Relief Fund is expected to curtail the impact on the MSME sector. 

DST sets up task force for mapping of technologies 

• Department of Science and Technology (DST) has set up a Task Force for mapping of technologies from Research and Development labs, academic institutions, start-ups and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The Department of Science & Technology plays a pivotal role in the promotion of science & technology in the country. 

• It aims to fund nearly market-ready solutions in the area of diagnostics, testing, health care delivery solutions, equipment supplies. 

Banking and Economy 

India’s GDP growth slashed to 2.5 percent in 2020 

• Moody's Investors Service on March 27, 2020 reduced India’s GDP growth in 2020 to 2.5 percent from the earlier estimate of 5.3 percent 

• Moody’s said that the current situation will cause unprecedented shock to the global economy including the Indian economy. 

• It said in its Global Macro Outlook 2020-21 that India will see a sharp fall in incomes at an estimated 2.5 percent growth rate. 

RBI’s 7th Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement for 2019-20 

• In view of the current situation, the Reserve Bank of India’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decided to advance the Bi-monthly Monetary Policy meet which was scheduled to be held on 31st March 2020 and the announcement was meant to be made on 3rd April. 

• The meeting was advanced to 24th, 26th and 27th March 2020. During the seventh Bi-monthly Monetary Policy meet, the MPC analysed the current & evolving macroeconomic and financial conditions and has decided to take a accommodative stance and hence reduced the policy repo rate to revive growth as well as to mitigate the impact of.

• The World Theatre Day is celebrated all over the world on the 27th of March since 1962 to promote the art form “theatre” accross the world. 

• The day was initiated in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute (ITI). 

• Every year the Executive Council of ITI choses an outstanding theatre personality to write the message for World Theatre Day. 

• The author of the Message of World Theatre Day 2020 is: Shahid NADEEM (Playwright), Pakistan.

Senior Journalist Chander Suta Dogra Pens Book ‘Missing in Action: The Prisoners Who Never Came Back’ 

• Chander Suta Dogra, a senior Indian journalist has come up with her meticulously-researched new book titled Missing in Action: The Prisoners Who Never Came Back. 

• The book is a story of India’s soldiers who went missing during the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars. 

• They are called “the missing 54” Indian soldiers, who have been forgotten in the fog of past wars with Pakistan. 

• With the help of the book, the author tries to answer the key question: what happened to these men? 

• Chander Suta Dogra is a journalist and author and has worked for various publications, including Outlook, Indian Express, Hindu and Hindustan Times.
