भारत सरकार द्वारा उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए 43 मोबाइल एप प्रतिबंधित

• केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय ने उपयोगकर्ताओं के लिए 43 और मोबाइल ऐप पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। मंत्रालय ने 24 नवंबर, 2020 को एक आदेश जारी किया, जिसमें सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अधिनियम की धारा 69 ए के तहत 43 ऐप तक पहुंच को रोक दिया गया।
• इससे पहले सितंबर 2020 में, सरकार ने 118 मोबाइल ऐप्स पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था और जून 2020 में 59 ऐप पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था।

केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, संचार और कानून और न्याय मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने UMANG ऐप का अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संस्करण लॉन्च किया

• 23 नवंबर, 2020 को, श्री रविशंकर प्रसाद, केंद्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, संचार और कानून और न्याय मंत्री ने UMANG ऐप के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संस्करण को लॉन्च किया, जिसमें UMANG के 3 वर्षों के अवसर को चिह्नित किया गया।
• अंतरराष्ट्रीय ऐप को उन चुनिंदा देशों के लिए लॉन्च किया गया है जिनमें यूएसए, यूके, कनाडा, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, यूएई, नीदरलैंड, सिंगापुर, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यूजीलैंड शामिल हैं।
• नई दिल्ली में साइबर कॉन्फ्रेंस के वैश्विक सम्मेलन के पांचवें संस्करण में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा 23 नवंबर 2017 को UMANG (यूनिफाइड मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन फॉर न्यू-एज गवर्नेंस) लॉन्च किया गया था।

 पूर्वोत्तर के पहले गाय अस्पताल का उद्घाटन असम के डिब्रूगढ़ में किया गया

• असम के डिब्रूगढ़ में एक गौ आश्रय ने गोपाष्टमी के अवसर पर पूर्वोत्तर के पहले गाय अस्पताल का उद्घाटन किया।
• अस्पताल, सुरभि आरोग्यशाला, 17 लाख रुपये की लागत से श्री गोपाल गौशाला द्वारा स्थापित है।
• आश्रय में 368 गाय हैं। अस्पताल 30 किमी के दायरे में सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा।

 बैंकिंग और अर्थव्यवस्था

आरबीआई ने मंटा अर्बन कोऑपरेटिव बैंक पर छह महीने का प्रतिबंध लगाया

• भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने महाराष्ट्र के जालना जिले में Manta शहरी सहकारी बैंक को धन और ऋण लेनदेन के भुगतान के लिए छह महीने के लिए प्रतिबंधित कर दिया है।
• केंद्रीय बैंक ने इस बैंक को कुछ निर्देश दिए हैं, जो 17 नवंबर 2020 को बैंक बंद होने के बाद से छह महीने के लिए प्रभावी होगा।

 सम्‍मेलन एवं समझौते

भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ने लक्जमबर्ग स्टॉक एक्सचेंज के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किये

• स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (SBI) ने लक्ज़मबर्ग स्टॉक एक्सचेंज (LuxSe) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
• MoU SBI और LuxSE को दीर्घकालिक सहयोग तंत्र स्थापित करने में मदद करेगा, और ESG (पर्यावरण, सामाजिक और कॉर्पोरेट प्रशासन) और हरित वित्त को बढ़ावा देगा।
• इस समझौता ज्ञापन के माध्यम से, लक्ज़मबर्ग स्टॉक एक्सचेंज ईएसजी केंद्रित धन और बांड के संदर्भ में जारीकर्ता, परिसंपत्ति प्रबंधकों और निवेशकों के लिए एक स्थायी वातावरण बनाने की दिशा में काम करेगा।

इंटरनेशनल एमी अवार्ड्स में दिल्ली क्राइम ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ ड्रामा सीरीज़ का पुरस्कार जीता

• नेटफ्लिक्स शो, दिल्ली क्राइम ने 48 वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एमी अवार्ड्स 2020 में सर्वश्रेष्ठ ड्रामा सीरीज़ पुरस्कार जीता है। दिल्ली क्राइम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एमी अवार्ड जीतने वाली भारत की पहली वेब-सीरीज़ है।
• यह शो रिची मेहता द्वारा लिखित और निर्देशित है और इसमें अभिनेत्री शेफाली शाह मुख्य किरदार में हैं।

पीलीभीत टाइगर रिजर्व को बाघों की आबादी को दोगुना करने के लिए वैश्विक पुरस्कार 'TX2' मिला

• उत्तर प्रदेश के पीलीभीत जिले और शाहजहाँपुर जिले में स्थित पीलीभीत टाइगर रिज़र्व (PTR) ने राज्य वन विभाग के साथ पहली बार अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार जीता है, जिसमें बाघों की संख्या दोगुनी की गई है।
• 'TX2 का का अर्थ ‘Tigers times two’ है, जो जंगली बाघों को दोगुना करने के लक्ष्य को इंगित करता है।

इसरो के अध्यक्ष के सिवन को कर्नाटक के राज्यपाल वजुभाई वाला द्वारा डॉक्टर ऑफ साइंस मानद डॉक्टरेट से सम्मानित किया गया

• कर्नाटक सरकार के विश्वेश्वरैया प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय ने इसरो के अध्यक्ष के सिवन को डॉक्टर ऑफ साइंस मानद डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्रदान की है।
• डॉक्टरेट को 21 नवंबर 2020 को कर्नाटक के राज्यपाल वजुभाई वाला द्वारा इसरो प्रमुख के सामने पेश किया गया था।

भारत ने सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण किया

• भारत ने 24 नवंबर, 2020 को सुबह 10 बजे अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह क्षेत्र से ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल के भूमि-हमले संस्करण का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया।
• सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल ने सफलतापूर्वक अपने लक्ष्य को मारा, जो दूसरे द्वीप पर था। भारतीय सेना द्वारा परीक्षण-फायरिंग का आयोजन किया गया था।
• ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल अपनी कक्षा में दुनिया की सबसे तेज परिचालन प्रणाली है और हाल ही में डीआरडीओ ने मिसाइल प्रणाली की सीमा को मौजूदा 298 किमी से बढ़ाकर लगभग 450 किमी कर दिया है।

कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता अहमद पटेल का निधन

• कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और राज्यसभा सांसद, अहमद पटेल का निधन हो गया। वह 1977 से 1989 तक तीन बार लोकसभा सांसद रहे और राज्‍यसभा से 1993 से गुजरात का प्रतिनिधित्व कर रहे थे।
• उन्होंने कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी के राजनीतिक सचिव के रूप में भी काम किया और यूपीए शासन के दौरान पार्टी के शीर्ष वार्ताकारों में से एक थे।

 दिग्गज टीवी अभिनेता आशीष रॉय का निधन

• टेलीविजन अभिनेता आशीष रॉय का निधन हो गया, C-19 के दौरान वह गुर्दे की बीमारी से पीड़ित थे। वह 55 वर्ष के थे।
• उनके कुछ प्रसिद्ध टेलीविजन शो में मूवर्स एंड शेकर्स, यस बॉस, रीमिक्स, बा बहू और बेबी, चल्दी दा नाम गद्दी, बुरे भी हम भले भी हम, ससुराल सिमर का, कुछ रंग प्यार के ऐसे भी, मेरे अंगने में, आरम्भ।

महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस: 25 नवंबर

• International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women: संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा 25 नवंबर को दुनिया भर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को दुनिया भर में महिलाएं हिंसा के विभिन्न रूपों और मुद्दे की वास्तविक प्रकृति के अधीन के तथ्य के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए मनाया जाता हैं।
• सयुंक्त राष्ट्र संघ का मानना है कि महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा मानवाधिकार का उल्लंघन है और इसके पीछे की वजह महिलाओं के साथ भेद भाव सहित शिक्षा, गरीबी, एचआईवी और शांति जैसे मुद्दों से जुड़ा है।
• महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के अंतरराष्ट्रीय दिवस 2020 की थीम “Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!” है।

43 mobile apps banned by Indian Government for users

• The Union Electronics and Information Technology Ministry has banned 43 more mobile apps for the users. The Ministry issued an order on November 24, 2020, blocking access to 43 apps under section 69A of Information Technology Act.
• Earlier in September 2020, the Government had banned 118 mobile apps and banned 59 apps in June 2020.

 IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad launches International version of UMANG to mark 3 years of App

• On November 23, 2020, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Communications and Law & Justice launched the international version of the UMANG app, to mark the occasion of 3 years of UMANG and also celebrate over 2000 services milestone.
• The international app has been launched for select countries that include USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Netherlands, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
• The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) was launched on 23 November 2017 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the fifth edition of the Global Conference on Cyberspace in New Delhi.

 First cow hospital of Northeast inaugurated in Assam’s Dibrugarh

• A cow shelter in Assam’s Dibrugarh inaugurated Northeast’s first-ever cow hospital, on the occasion of Gopashtami.
• The hospital, Surbhi Aarogyashala, is set up by Shree Gopal Gaushala at a cost of Rs 17 lakh.
• There are 368 cows in the shelter.The hospital will provide services in 30 km radius.

RBI imposes six-month ban on Manta Urban Cooperative Bank

• The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has banned the Manta Urban Cooperative Bank in Jalna district of Maharashtra for six months for payment of money and loan transactions.
• The central bank has given some instructions to this bank, which will be effective for six months since the bank closed on 17 November 2020.

SBI Signs Pact With Luxembourg Stock Exchange

• State Bank of India (SBI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSe).
• The MoU will help SBI and LuxSE set up a long-term cooperation mechanism, and promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) and green finance.
• Through this MoU, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange would work towards creating a sustainable environment for issuers, asset managers, and investors in terms of ESG focused funds and bonds.

Delhi Crime bags Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards

• The Netflix show, Delhi Crime has won the Best Drama Series award at the 48th International Emmy Awards 2020. Delhi Crime is the first web-series from India to win an International Emmy Award.
• The show is written and directed by Richie Mehta and features actress Shefali Shah as the main character.

Pilibhit Tiger Reserve gets global award ‘TX2’ for doubling tiger population

• The Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR), situated in the Pilibhit district and Shahjahanpur District of Uttar Pradesh has won the first-ever international award, TX2, along with the state Forest department, for doubling the number of tigers.
• *TX2 stands for ‘Tigers times two’, signalling the goal to double wild tigers.

ISRO Chairman K Sivan Conferred with Doctor of Science honorary doctorate by Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala

• The Visvesvaraya Technological University, of the Government of Karnataka, has conferred the Doctor of Science honorary doctorate upon ISRO Chairman K Sivan.
• The doctorate was presented to the ISRO Chief by Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala on 21 November 2020.

India test-fires land-attack version of BrahMos missile

• India successfully test-fired a land-attack version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory at 10 am on November 24, 2020.
• The supersonic cruise missile successfully hit its target, which was on another island. The test-firing was conducted by the Indian Army.
• The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile is the world's fastest operational system in its class and recently DRDO has extended the range of the missile system from the existing 298 km to around 450 km.

 Obituary

Congress veteran Ahmed Patel passes away

• Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Ahmed Patel passed away. He was Lok Sabha MP for three terms from 1977 to 1989 and Rajya Sabha MP since 1993 representing Gujarat.
• He also served as the political secretary to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and was one of the party’s top negotiators during the UPA regime.

 Veteran TV actor Ashiesh Roy passes away

• Television actor Ashiesh Roy has passed away, suffering from kidney ailment during the C-19. He was 55.
• Some of his famous television shows includes Movers & Shakers, Yes Boss, Remix, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi, Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum, Sasural Simar Ka, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Mere Angne Mein, Aarambh.

Virat Kohli, R Ashwin nominated for ICC Player of the Decade Award

• India skipper Virat Kohli and spinner Ravichandran Ashwin have been nominated for the ICC Player of the Decade Award.
• Other cricketers nominated for the award include England’s Joe Root, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Australia’s Steve Smith, South Africa’s AB de Villiers and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara.
• For the ODI Player of the Decade award, India’s MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga & Kumar Sangakkara, Australia’s Mitchell Starc and South Africa’s AB de Villiers have been nominated.

• The United Nations designated International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is celebrated worldwide on November 25.
